Bathroom shower had 2 long hairs attached to side. Hair around base of toiler and a Reese peanut butter cup wrapper on floor. Sheat source extremely loud when it would kick on.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, although we did not have daily housekeeping, the front desk was quick to give us what we required. The onsite Steak House had the best steak, I have ever had.. I highly recommend eating here. The casino was kept clean, and staff were friendly and readily available. I would recommend staying here.

Nice room. However electrical outlet in bathroom didn't work making it very inconvenient for my wife to use her hair blower and curling iron. Also, the shampoo dispenser in the tub/ shower was plugged so had to use the conditioner. Otherwise room was nice size with an 3xcellent TV. Your casino was more than fair at the slots contrary to the very poor return from the Great Canadian Casino in our area near Vancouver.

The inside of the property was very nice BUT the outside could be cleaned up. Cigarette butts everywhere and some trash, not a lot but still noticeable.

Staff was very friendly and rooms are spacious and clean. Always feel safe when a room key is required to operate the elevator, it adds an additionalvsense of security. Will stay here again, when the need arises.

This was the first time I’d stayed at the Silver Reef and I wish I’d known the north tower is newer and nicer. It was fully booked by the time I checked in so I stayed in the south tower. That entire side of the hotel smells like an old dirty ashtray….the smoke from part of the casino wafts up and it’s disgusting. Also, the room was dimly lit and had a very dated bathroom, flat / old pillows on the bed, and a thin comforter. I won’t stay here again.

While the property was fine, our overall experience was far from perfect. We got checked in and we went to the casino to have drinks and play. A short time late, we were told they would be closing down early due to weather. A little bummed, but no big deal. Then we were told they were closing at 8:00pm! We had barely even gotten there! There was no acknowledgment. We were not given the opportunity to reschedule our trip. We were there for my fiancé's birthday. We had taken days off work and gotten childcare, and chose the Silver Reef instead of our usual, closer casino/hotels. We only live about an hour away. I feel we should've been given the opportunity to cancel and rebook our trip for a different day. All of the restaurants were closed, except for the Red River Cafe, where we waited forever for our food, despite there being very few people in there. They brought the wrong food, which was lukewarm at best, then we had to wait even longer for the food that we actually ordered- also warm-ish. Not exactly the nice birthday dinner I had planned for him. I understand that weather is out of anyone's control. And I appreciate, wanting to keep everyone safe. However, I feel we should have been given the opportunity to come a different time where we could enjoy the full experience. This trip was a complete waste of our time and money. We will definitely not be going back.
