"Rustic charm"
My party enjoyed the location and the rustic charm of the structure. Across the narrow road were grazing sheep, bleating lambs and nesting pheasant. The drive to Haltwhistle was not more than 5 minutes and it was a historic town, dating back to 1201, with several places selling delicious food and friendly locals to answer questions. Ald White Craig farm was also minutes away from the Roman historic sites. The only downside of our stay was we had one bath towel each, no washcloths, no hand towels, no hand soap and no heat. The temperature was warmer in the sleeping areas but chilly on the main floor. There was a wood stove on the main floor but we didn't try to start it.

"One night stopover in "Wall" Country"
What can I say about staying above a Pub? Nice, comfy bedroom and decent bathroom. Breakfast in the pub was VERY good, and served quite quickly. Be prepared to pay in CASH, and parking has to be elsewhere, as the pub has no parking lot. We used the "Wentworth"? parking lot about 7 mins walk away. Exceptionally good selection of beers, ales and ciders in the pub.

"Great B&B for family stay"
We were made so welcome here that we felt like the first and only guests yet it was busy. The lovely couple who run the B&B went out of their way to look after my three children. We spent a very relaxing evening playing pool in the lounge and had a very well prepared and big breakfast in the morning. Our family room was big and comfortable with plenty of space for five. It's very easy to get to hadrians wall with several forts nearby. Also only a few miles from Haydon Bridge which has 3 pubs for evening meals.

"Nice stay."
Very handy for visiting Cragside Estate and touring area . Rothbury is a small, lovely ,typical Northumbrian country town.Unfortunately the hotel was let down by issues with evening meals in the restaurant ,mainly the time waiting for the meal to be served after ordering .Also I ordered the Gnochi on different evenings & the sauce tasted different ,definitely something left out the second time. Apart from this ,a very comfortable stay.

Very nice little BnB, excellent location just outside the main town centre. The couple who run it are lovely and very helpful.
