We specifically stayed here because it has a pool. Woke up and went to use it and it was closed for maintenance. This is something that should be kept up especially when its advertised. Not happy!

The room we stayed in certainly had been tidied not cleaned. Under the bed I found beer cans and ice cream wrappers. I pulled out the sofa bed to sleep on and it looked like it had never been cleaned. Crumbs everywhere, wrappers, leftovers. Overall I wasn’t impressed with the hygienic factors of our room.

We were worried because we had seen reviews that said the hotel was dirty. It wasn't. The carpet in the main areas could definitely be cleaned but the rooms themselves were very clean. We also read issues concerning staff. We found them very friendly.

Room was dirty and food on floor from previous guest. No information on how tv worked , plus terrible reception. Coffee maker leaked, had to ask for a roll of toilet paper, lamps in room dirty not cleaned. Ample supply of towels. Restaurant aka pub not open till 11 am so off to Tim Hortons for coffee. The only saving grace was the swimming pool. Hotel showing its age which is too bad as there are not a lot of nice hotels in Trenton.

Nice clean room, The Piper Pub in the hotel had awesome pub fare. Thanks for the great service from Thomas. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

The first room we had was better but the door card mechanism was broken. The second room was moldy/mildewy. No other rooms to go to as it was sold out… Pool was cold. It was quiet though. No noises or disturbances. Staff were lovely.

It was a really quiet Inn. Once the pub died down it was comfortable to hang outside no problem.

We stayed here 2 nights. We picked this hotel because of the pool. The pool was freezing cold. Over the two days neither laundry nor trash was picked up. Because of this we decided to not venture back into the water as we were now concerned that the water quality was not checked given the state of the rest of the poo area. The room was clean. The couch and bed were very worn and saggy and not very comfortable. The water pressure and hot water in the bathroom were minimal. After our first night despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, cleaning staff knocked several times to offer cleaning. Iverall the hotel was not terrible but definitely not great either. I would probably not stay here again.

I have no clue where to begin. The front desk staff were friendly so that’s a plus. The check in process was fine. We got to our room and it looked very over run compared to the photographs. The cleanliness of the room was awful, the simplest of details were missed. The wifi that was apart of the room didn’t work at all (I was there for business and needed wifi in the room) the receptionist tried going to two other rooms for me and it was the same side of the building as my original room, and those rooms she tried showing didn’t have working wifi. After trying those other rooms, she said she’d call me with a solution and I never ended up receiving a call from the receptionist with an actual solution. In the room we found used kleenex stuffed behind our mattress, the pillows were barely the size of a throw pillow and we’re not comfortable. The room had a lot of simple details that needed attention and it makes me question if they actually have any form of maintenance.The carpets need a good deep cleaning. The light switches need a good cleaning as there’s built up dirt.The mattress was comfortable which was good. I really wish I could bring more good things to say about this place but based upon my experience I would not recommend anyone to waste their money.There seems to be a lack of good consistent cleaning standards throughout the building. Some common spaces weren’t well kept either. The point of sale wasn’t working at checkout and didn’t receive my deposit back($200)

Water out of tap ran yellow. Property needs updating…bathrooms in particular. We didn’t even stay the second night of our reservation even though we got no refund. I had a bad stay in a Ramada 20 years ago. This was a second and final stay.

Overall disappointed, room was neat and well furnished but had a very strong odour of mustiness. Smelled like room had flooded in the past and was never properly dried. Used a full bottle of Febreeze to mask the odour. At checkout in the morning no front desk staff, waited 15 minutes and still no one showed up. Finally dropped room card and left
