We appreciated the deck areas adjacent to the woods, and the amazing view from the great room. The kitchen is well laid out with all imaginable equipment and supplies, including a Keurig machine, and the full dining room includes a small buffet containing a standard drip coffee machine. There is an open area at the top of the stairs where teens can be comfortable. It has a table, futon couch and a cabinet of games. The property has all the amenities you could need for a long weekend away. Property was spacious and very accommodating for our family of 5\. The beds were are comfortable, except for the master bed was very firm. We love the Schuss Mtn area of Shanty Creek it has plenty of walking paths. Bring the boat for awesome time on the Lake! Guests should know that the resort shuttle stops a half block away at “five corners”, which is a great way to get a large group of skiers around the resort, particularly when the roads are icy and your guest’s cars aren’t prepared for Michigan winters. We had 3 families with 6 kids and fit nicely with the girls in the fourth bedroom and the boys on the loft, which is larger than the pictures and has a futon bed.
