The apartment, located on the ground floor of a house, opens onto an open space furnished with a double sofa bed, a dining table, a tv, and a modern fully-equipped kitchen equipped with an oven, a kettle, a juicer and a toaster. The sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a closet and a chest of drawers. The apartment is completed by a bathroom with shower and a private garden with outdoor furniture overlooking the enchanting bay of Loppia. \*In the area where the accommodation is located there are no taxis or public transport available for short local transport. It is therefore advisable to reach the destination by car. \*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided. Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como. But good to know that the flat is very humid and not bright (It was smelling humidity and our clothes were getting humid). For this reason we were not impatient to return to the flat. It would also be good to have the basic cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar). But we still had a good stay. Just we found that it was expensive for thee flat. ahgdgdhexp ##### Sylvie G. Wir kamen in das Apartment und es fiel uns ein feuchter, gammeliger und sehr unangenhmer Geruch auf. In dem Apartment stehen 2 Ventilatoren und ein Luftenfeuchter, was uns sehr stutzig gemacht hat. Bei genauerer Betrachtung fallen an den Wänden und Decken überall Schimmel und Wasserflecken auf. Die Lampe im Bad war komplett verschimmelt. Die Tür zum Bad hat ein großes Loch. Das Geschirr und die Müllbehälter waren schmutzig und gammelig. Der Versuch einen Mitarbeiter von Wonderful Italy für eine Klärung des Problems zu erreichen blieb bis heute unbeantwortet. Unser Urlaub war damit leider sehr stark beeintächtigt. Wir haben das Apartement dann auf eigene Initiative verlassen und kämpfen nun um Schadensersatz. Leider bisher ohne Erfolg, da wir keinerlei Antworten bekommen!!! Für uns ist das eine absolute Abzocke. Finger weg von dem Apartment!!! ##### Maike H. The property area was just what we were looking for, a short distance (10 minute walk) away from the main part of Bellagio; quiet, and felt like being a part of a local neighborhood. The photographs on the site do the property justice. However there was an issue with the Dehumidifier, which needed to be running full time. The Dehumidifier leaked terribly and the floor constantly needed to be mopped. (We walked into a considerable puddle upon checking in) We ended up using the towels to try and soak up the water overnight. Which meant we were short on towels. This might be an ongoing issue as there was mold in the cupboards. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with cookware, plates etc, but nothing for basic cooking essentials. No Olive Oil, Salt / Pepper, Condiments, Coffee etc. In the end we enjoyed our time here, but the Dehumidifier and mold made us want to get out and about and not linger at the property, which in retrospect was a good thing. There is a great little market a short walk away called Nenè which we would recommend for basic food items, wine, cocktails and a light dinner. ##### Michael A. Duidelijke instructies voor het inchecken. Het appartement ligt centraal in een Italiaans wijkje. Het is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles op loop afstand. Zowel voor het zwemmen als naar centrum van Bellagio. Pakeren kan, maar je moet wel geluk hebben dat er nog een plekje vrij is. ##### Diana T.
