### Family Villa with Stunning Lake View by Wonderful Italy

Charming historic villa with garden and stunning lake view just a few minutes drive from the lake and the most beautiful places including Bellagio.   
  
This villa is spread over two floors and welcomes guests with a large garden equipped with a barbecue, a table, chairs, benches and a parasol. The entrance opens onto a corridor that connects the rooms of the ground floor. On the left guests will find a bedroom with a queen-size bed, on the right a spacious dining room with a study area that leads to the amazing veranda characterized by large windows overlooking the lake and furnished with sofas, armchairs, a desk, a coffee table, chairs and a TV. At the bottom on the left, the independent kitchen with a dining table, a pantry and a fireplace, is fully equipped with an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer and an espresso coffee machine. Here a French door gives access to the garden. From the corridor, two flights of stairs lead to the upper floor, which houses the sleeping area. Two rooms feature a single bed, while the other three are furnished with a queen-size bed. All rooms include a closet and overlook the garden or the lake. The layout is completed by a bathroom with shower on the ground floor and two bathrooms on the upper floor, one with a bathtub and one with a shower.   
  
\*In the area where the accommodation is located there are no taxis or public transport available for short local transport. It is therefore advisable to reach the destination by car.   
  
\*A portion of the villa, which is located in the basement and has independent access, is reserved for the owner.   
  
\*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.   
  
Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided.   
  
Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como.   
  
The apartment is 1 hour and 25-minute drive from Orio al Serio Airport.

#### Semaine à Civenna

Site fantastisque pour notre groupe de 12 amis. A ce prix dans la région je m'attendais à quelque mauvaise surprise, mais n'en ai pas rencontré. Tous petits bémols: la procédure en ligne de paiement de la taxe locale ne semble pas fonctionner et la personne en charge de l'accueil n'acceptait pas les espèces. Un peu plus de vaisselle serait bienvenue pour 12 personnes.

#### Really special property

We enjoyed the property and the town! We'd love to come back. As the prior reviews stated there are some weird electrical anomalies. The views and grounds are unmatched and the place is very spacious with so many special details. My one feedback is to please send the address farther in advance. We didn't receive it until very very last minute which caused us a lot of stress in driving.

#### Timeless, charming home in Idyllic setting, but substantial deferred maintenance

There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure. My daughter’s bedroom had wires under her bed that were electrically taped together. Yeah We booked a three day stay but checked out day early and moved to modern air-conditioned hotel . The managing agent from Wonderful Italy was superb, and met us at the property to show us in. Excellent service from her. It’s just that the property owner needs to spend some time and effort upgrading the items that are lacking, Then it would be a timeless property.
