The apartment, located on the second floor accessible by stairs, is spread over two floors and is characterized by a beautiful wood-beamed ceiling. The living area consists of a fully-equipped independent kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer and an espresso coffee machine, and of a large living room furnished with sofas, a coffee table, a TV, a dining table and large windows overlooking the park and the lake. The sleeping area includes three rooms, one of which is an attic located on the upper floor, accessible by a spiral staircase from the living room. The first one features a queen-size bed and a closet, the second one has two single beds and a closet, the third one has a single bed, a closet and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. A second bathroom with a shower completes the layout. At guests' disposal amenities such as free wifi, washing machine, iron, air conditioning and heating. \*In the area where the accommodation is located there are no taxis or public transport available for short local transport. It is therefore advisable to reach the destination by car. \*Guests will benefit from aan outdoor parking slot inside the property. \*The shared swimming pool is open from the 1st of June to the 20th of September. A swimming cap could be required. Cot and high chair available upon request, at an extra cost of 35€ per stay, per item. We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided. Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como. During a boat tour, our torque god said this is the oldest villa and Bellagio. There are quite a bit of stairs to go up so if you can’t carry your luggage upstairs, this would not be your villa. We love the views and everything from our room. The living room views are phenomenal. To get to the main area of Bellagio we kept taking the little tram that runs every 30 minutes. There’s only a few places to eat in the area. Literally, I only saw three places. Which we ate at all three.The train ride to the main town only takes about six minutes! And when she take the train back to the area, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes round-trip. It would’ve been easier to stay in the heart of Bellagio, however, we did enjoy our stay here as well! ##### Christie E. We stayed in this apartment for three nights in April 2025 with my wife, two small children, and my mother-in-law. The views and proximity to the water cannot be beat, and the management team was very friendly and responsive. My only word of advice would be for potential renters to do some research on surrounding area before renting - the San Giovanni ferry dock is just steps away with some limited schedules to nearby towns, and there is a lovely coffee shop with helpful staff and a couple of restaurants nearby, but you will need a car to get to the property and nearby towns (including Bellagio). Beyond that, I only wish he had scheduled a few more days here - it went by too quickly! ##### Jonah F. The hosts were very communicative and made the check in process quick and easy. The property is very secluded and quiet but also an easy to walk into San Giovanni just outside of the gate. There is a ferry there that you can take to Bellagio or other towns on the lake. The apartment itself is well equipped with the exception of an oven. The AC units are in the bedrooms so you have to leave the doors open to cool the living area. They're also clearly programmed to not go below a certain temperature, so the master bedroom at night was a little warmer than we like it, but not a huge deal. The beautiful views and comfortable living space made it all and all a wonderful stay. ##### Dawn M.
