The parking is convenient and the hosts made the check in process easy. The house is clean, beautifully designed, and decorated with great taste. The pantry and kitchen are fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. There is also an under counter vacuum in the kitchen! The rooms are cozy and have large built in wardrobes that conveniently stored all of our belongings.Almost all of the lights are dimmable, which I personally loved. The doors leading to the lake are so awesome! We enjoyed being able to look at the lake from inside. The outdoor area is well appointed with grill, plenty of seating, and a nice dock with lights. My husband caught a Northern pike from the end of the dock, which was pretty exciting. The hosts delivered an impressive array of entertainment options. The built in surround sound was a great bonus, along with TVs in each room. The game room was impressive! We all had so much fun competing in the games provided! My family truly enjoyed every minute or our stay! The home was much larger than expected, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. We made unforgettable memories, from cooking spaghetti dinners in the well-stocked kitchen (we especially appreciated the excellent cookware and spacious fridge!) to grilling burgers on the patio. The game room was a hit with the teenagers—it was their own private space with shuffleboard, air hockey, arcade games, ping pong, and Apple TV access, all in a heated room with comfy recliners. The views of Great Pond were stunning, and the privacy made it feel like a true getaway. We spent evenings around the fire pit, enjoying the panoramic lake views through the screened bay doors, which had a cool automated open/close feature. The joint kitchen/living room area was perfect for family gatherings, and the surround sound system made movie nights a memorable experience. I also appreciated the electronic guest book, which was such a nice touch—no paper clutter! Communication with Sean and Danni was seamless via the VRBO app, and they were quick to respond to any questions. While the retreat is wonderful, ADA access may be something to consider for guests who need it. Overall, this was an ideal spot to celebrate such a special occasion.
