Belfair State Park, right next door to Belfair Beach House, offers an opportunity to explore the shores of Hood Canal, by foot or paddle board, fly a kite just enjoy a picnic by the water. In town, you'll find unique shops, wine tasting and a variety of restaurants. Just about 30 minutes by car, the nearby town of Union akso has much to offer visitors. It's the first non-native artist colony in the state of Washington and continues to attract artists of all kinds. You'll find a variety of restaurants and activities in the area, including the Alderbrook Golf Course. And Hood Canal will tempt you with to die for scenic views, endless recreational activities (hiking, biking, watersports), and the opportunity to explore the beauty and wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. We know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some, while others know their way around it. We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise. MANAGED: Property requires good behavior and adherence to instructions, house rules, terms, conditions, onsite instructions, and may require online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Instruction including access will be sent by email. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. If dogs are allowed, they must be approved in advance, with a quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Watched multiple seals daily chasing fish. Property had multiple kitchen items for use, was clean and very comfortable. The upstairs main bedroom bed was like sleeping on a rock even with the mattress pad. The home is nicely laid out and has a beautiful deck overlooking the Hood Canal. When we arrived a little after 5 pm, it was still being cleaned but we were able to enjoy the view and deck until it was ready. The person cleaning was super nice and helpful and it was fortunate she was there because the check in instructions we had received were totally wrong. We had a code to a lock box to get the key but the entry had been changed to a keyless entry and our code didn’t work. She was able to give us the correct code to enter. In addition, the hot tub was cloudy and although she was treating it, by the next day it was still cloudy. I called the management office and someone did come out while we were gone and treated it again. However, it was still cloudy the next day so I called again, but there was no response after that. We decided not to risk using it, and this was really disappointing because that was part of why we rented this property. Other than that , we did enjoy our stay there. ##### Betsy B. But the property management company alongside the grumpy neighbor certainly put a damper on our time. Few minor broken peices on property (shower door, hot tub knob, entrance gate) and a good case of tiny sugar ants too! But great kids room & we found everything we needed if we dug around enough. ;) Specifically enjoyed the back deck + awning, access to water at low tide, super quiet area! The property location is beautifully situated right on the Hood Canal and very close to Belfair State Park. Our only complaint was there was no clear Check List provided for Checking Out of the property. Our attempts in reaching the property management were not successful. So, we simply did our best in trying to do all that previous stays at VRBO properties had required when checking out. Having some type of a binder containing specific instructions for that property, perhaps recommending restaurants near by, etc. and including a Check Out check list would have made our leaving less stressful. This is why we have not given a 5 star review. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. The location and the home are beautiful! ##### Jody V. The location was great, the view amazing and the hot tub temperature was perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the upstairs bed was uncomfortable even with a pillow topper. I don’t like a firm bed or super thick pillows (maybe just my preference) but I wish they’d been softer. Also maybe a little nicer comforter like the downstairs bedroom.
