Not recommend for tourists Manager very accommodating and friendly given we arrived very late at night due to train being delayed. Used phone to translate into English. Manager was very polite and helpful. Could not fault her for her customer service. However the reception was a room within the building itself. The building, corridors, lift and our room stenched of cigarette smoke to the point it was overwhelming even though there were no smoking signs. The room had dust so thiick on a ledge and the lounge was worn peeling vinyl. The beds had a wooden board over the springs and a thin foam mattress so it was like sleeping on the floor. Using the shower the cigarette stench intensified so much you had to get out. We realised the water hitting the shower curtain was releasing the absorbed smell. We also saw the curtain was covered in black mould!!!! By morning we could hardly breathe from the stench of cigarettes and back pain from the bed we decided we could not spend another hour let alone a week here. Even our daughters were feeling it. Felt so sick by the time we left. I can not describe just how bad the cigarette stench was so shockingly sickening. It took well over an hour to check out and organise reimbursement of our money which didn’t arrive till about a week later. Not recommend for tourists!!!!!! Overall, this apartment was just ok. It was hard to find and especially difficult when we don’t any Mandarin to talk to the driver. The receptionist did not speak any English so she was using her phone to translate. The room was not a one bedroom as described in the site and the bed is so hard, I end up crashing on the couch for comfort. There’s always someone smoking in the elevator and it smells like a chimney even though there is a big sign that says no smoking.
