The guy at the front desk happily helped me navigate some stuff in Beijing. The neighborhood is nice, especially if you need to get to an embassy. There's a cool outdoor eating area a few blocks away that's worth checking out. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to a subway station, which is nice. The hotel, however, is old and not well updated. The lights in the room kept blinking on and off and the TV is very dated. Not worth the price. The room is not available although past the check in time. Air conditioner and the light are not working properly. We have to take off the room key in order to switch off the light. They have charged my credit card twice for my stay. The staff are not very helpful in solving the problem. Es ist ein gehobenes Chinesisches Hotel, mit allem was dazu gehört. Der Service ist bemüht, aber liefert nicht. Das Frühstück - wenn man Nudelsuppe mag, passt es. Das Zimmer war nicht fertig als ich ankam, da waren noch Handwerker. Als Entschuldigung sollte ein Obstkorb kommen...der kam nie. Ich musste früh los, vor um 6 gab es leider kein warmes Wasser, also kalt duschen.
