(Warning: Security made our visit to Tiananmen and Forbidden City terrible. We had to wait in a huge crowd as they screened every visitor. Must have passport for F. City. It was a 2 1/2 hour line! I used to be able to walk right to it! Security unfriendly and rude. Advise use tour guide instead. The tours walked right in. Very disappointed in the Chinese mentality here. We were exhausted by the time they let us in.
