It has its own garden and a stunning sea and mountain view, which takes in the Isles de Medes. Outside is furnished with sun loungers, tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and pool equipment. There is roadside parking available just outside the gate of the villa. Outside also benefits from a passive infra-red security light which is very handy when returning to the villa after dark. The layout of the villa is open-plan and the dining area leads through double doors onto the terrace which looks out to the Mediterranean Sea. There is a brick-built barbecue with chimney situated on the terrace and a table with four chairs and sun umbrella. The villa floors are tiled throughout. Within the lounge area there is a leather suite (2 and 3 Seater), coffee table, 32" flat screen TV, DVD, satellite TV, music stereo and CD's and some traditional spanish furniture. There is also a good selection of board games, books and DVD's. Free unlimited Internet access is available. The dining area consists of a table and chairs seating four people, a pine dresser, a pine cupboard and a closed log burning fire. The villa has a new fitted kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with a four ring hob, oven and grill, microwave oven, toaster, smoothie maker, coffee maker and fridge freezer. There is also a slow cooker so you can prepare a meal, go out for the day and dinner is ready when you return. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar with three stools. The bathroom has been completely refurbished and contains a walk-in shower and single vanity unit. There is a lighted mirror above the washbasin. There is a separate room (also completely refurbished) containing the lavatory with a washbasin with a lighted mirror above. There is a small utility room which contains a new washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes maiden and vacuum cleaner. Bedroom one comprises a double bed, bedside tables with lamps and built-in Spanish style wardrobe. Bedroom two comprises twin beds, a bedside table with lamp and built-in Spanish style wardrobes. Both rooms look onto the garden and both have heating and fans, pillows, blankets and bedspreads. The double bedroom also houses a lockable safe. A cot and a high chair are also provided within the house. Bed linen and towels are provided but guests must provide their own beach towels. The price includes final clean. Casa Nora is situated in Sa Punta, Begur, part of an area known as the 'Golden Triangle'. The Costa Brava is one of Spain's best-kept secrets. This rugged coastline extends northeast of Barcelona to the French border. The coast here is scenic and rugged, with coves, cliffs, and mountaintop lookouts. Picturesque towns and villages such as Pals, Llafranc, Cadaques, Calella de Palafrugell and Portlligat can be found all along the Costa Brava, as well as the Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries. The best parts of the Costa Brava are still truly beautiful, with the northerly stretch dotted with perfect small beaches in rocky coves surrounded by pine clad hills. Strictly speaking the Costa Brava runs out at Blanes, a few miles north of Barcelona but, as do most people, we include Barcelona. Golfers have discovered on the Costa Brava, a destination with many golf courses open all year round, with a Mediterranean climate and very mild temperatures which helps the courses remain in perfect condition. Quality, variety and the spectacular are featured in courses. The course styles are varied including links and parkland layouts which are often lined with impressive pines, cork and oak trees, whilst others include water hazards and large undulating greens. The environment has provided this area with a privileged landscape, where golf courses have been perfectly adapted and carefully respect the environment around them. Driving ranges have been perfectly prepared for those who want to take up with this wonderful game. I would come here again I had a great time and camped 2 nights on the beach. La maison est située dans les hauteurs de Begur, calme et repos assurés et sans vis-à-vis ! Les photos sont conformes à la réalité, la maison est très propre et dispose de tout ce dont vous aurez besoin. Piscine et vue sur mer et montagne au top ! Les seuls points negatifs : - le lit deux places un peu petit et le matelas trop mou - le manque de clim', notamment en période de canicule comme nous l'avons vécu lors de notre séjour L'agence qui s'occupe du bien est très réactive pour toute demande. Restaurants sowie ein Supermarkt waren gut erreichbar. Die Küchenausstattung war etwas dürftig, es fehlten z.B. Salatschüsseln. ##### Hans Peter I. Séjour de 10 nuits en août 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Daniel J. 27 juill. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Ein absolut toller Urlaub! Wir hatten den perfekten Urlaub im Haus Casa Nora. Es hat alles, was man braucht. Es gibt einen großen Wohnraum inklusive Küche. In der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Weiter gibt es zwei Schlafräume, einer mit Doppelbett und einer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Dadurch, dass die Räume im Untergeschoss liegen, sind sie nachts nicht zu warm. Im Wohnraum gibt es Sofas, Fernseher und diverse andere Entertainment Geräte. Außerdem gibt es einen großen Esstisch, an dem man gut essen kann. Das Haus hat allerdings so viele tolle Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen, so dass wir hauptsächlich draußen gegessen haben. Überall gibt es Sonnenschirme, so dass man auch genug Schatten hat. Es gibt eine Terrasse neben der Küche, aber die schönsten Sitzgelegenheiten sind am Pool und auf dem großen Balkon, denn von dort hat man einen absolut wunderbaren Ausblick. Das Haus liegt erhöht auf einem Hügel, daher hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf Meer, die Illes de Medes und die weiteren Hügel und Dörfer in der Umgebung. Zusätzlich zu den verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es einen Garten, den man auch nutzen kann. Was uns am meisten begeistert hat, war der absolut großartige Pool. Man kann sich zu jeder Zeit abkühlen, es gibt genug Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Zum schönen Strand, mit klarem Wasser ist es fußläufig auch nicht weit. Restaurants und Shops sind ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es war alles wirklich perfekt! ##### Daniel J. Spent most of our time outside at the different sitting areas. Pool is a great design re depths and gradients. Enjoyed our night swims with pool lights on. House met our needs but a bit dated and dark inside. Unfortunately building work immediately through wall (villa is a semi detached) but not much owner could have done to mitigate. Die Ausstattung war top , die Lage sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Perfekt zum entspannen ! Nichts für Partypeople. Der Blick von der Terrasse am Pool oder am Wohnzimmer hinunter in die Bucht war sehr schön. Wir haben uns prächtig erholt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Moskito Netze vor dem Schlafzimmerfenstern wären klasse. ##### Miriam W. Obviously a well loved, well used holiday home but with everything you need in terms of home comforts. A privilege to be there - the pool is lovely and the view is amazing. Such a quiet location but 10 Minutes away from beaches,supermarkets, restaurants etc. Any minor issues were dealt with promptly. We know the area very well from previous family holidays so enjoyed returning. We very much hope to visit again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. ##### Brian R. Una semana maravillosa, para desconectar totalmente que es lo que necesitábamos. Zona muy tranquila y muy privada y con vistas privilegiadas. Desde la casa se ve la playa de Pals, la bahía de l’Estartit y las Illes Medes. Desayunar y almorzar con estas vistas no tiene precio ¡Hasta se oye el mar! Muy bien pensadas las distintas zonas para elegir si quieres sol o sombra. Piscina privada espectacular. Limpieza bien y jardín cuidado. Cocina pequeña pero bien equipada. Instrucciones por parte de los propietarios bien (en inglés). Equipamiento bien excepto el colchón de la cama de matrimonio que está totalmente deformado y viejo. Aún con el problema del colchón, nos gustaría volver otro verano !!!! Gracias Jackie. ##### David R. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2021 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Wilm W. 25 juill. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Es lebe die Treppe für die schönste Sicht Die Lage ist genial, ein traumhafter Blick auf die Bucht ist garantiert, aber dafür muss man auch Abstriche machen. Der Pool ist sauber, die Pool-Liegen brauchen entweder eine gute Reinigung, oder auch mal einen Austausch. Der Grill (Kohle) hat seine besten Tage gesehen, das Grillrost ist leider unterirdisch rostig. Es gibt pro Aufenthalt 1 x Bettwäsche und 1 x Handtuch und Badetuch. Man kann ja selbst waschen. Das kennen wir von anderen Ferienhäusern so nicht... Alle Ebenen sind nur durch Treppen zu erreichen. Der Weg von den Schlafzimmern geht immer über diverse Treppen zum Ziel. Eigentlich alles hat immer eine Treppe dabei. Unser Fazit: Bedingt Sauber, aber wir nennen das Haus einen Treppenwitz ##### Wilm W. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2021
