In spite of concerns from locals over past history of the property—this property was clean/fresh and felt very safe. Would definitely stay there again

Second time we stayed here. For the price, you really can't beat this place. The staff were great. The room was clean and offered everything we needed. The carpet on the outside steps were a bit loose, possibly a tripping hazard but otherwise a great stay. We'll be staying there again!

I liked that there were 2 malls near by. Close to Halifax. It has a full size fridge, microwave, desk, table, a cute kitchen area. The room was cleaned every day, even though I didn't request it.

We liked the kitchen with the large refrigerator, sink and microwave, with washing up cloths provided. That was great for snacks and breakfast, etc. The bathroom was kept well stocked.

Friendly check in experience. Clean, but a generic decor. Outside lighting quite intrusive. Door window needs shading. Operation of the TV was a trial, common enough in motels lately. Decent place to lay your head.

No curtains over door window, able to see through door window to upper level of hotel. A tall person could lookribht into room. Easy fix add cutrtains to door windows

Room was extemely small for the price. You could hear everything from the guest beside you and above you. At check in was informed had to pay damage deposit by credit card only. Not cash, not visa debit. The individual checking us in was extremely rude about it as well. Would have been nice to know prior to checking it. We left a pair of expensive shoes in the room (yes our fault I know) but we were traveling back to the area the following weekend and when I asked them to hang on to them I was told they can not promise as they do not have a place to keep them. It is a pair of sneakers for one week, not a truck for a year. The customer service is a huge fail in my books and they will not be getting any more business from us or the people we travel with.

When booking a reservation online, the policies are clearly stated including the damage deposit policy. We were happy to hold on to your sneakers until they were picked up but you had mentioned a few weeks, after such a long period of time we cannot hold many items unfortunately as we have a limited amount of space.

This is an amazing place to stay. We stayed for four nights. Towels replaced each day. Laundry services were available for a fee. Sign looks old but the rooms have all been redone. I recommend this hotel.
