My second-floor apartment in Bedford's lively town centre exudes coziness with its warm colour scheme and soft furnishings. A hidden gem, full of character and charm. The living area is adorned with an inviting sofa bed and a well-loved coffee table, where you often enjoy a good book or movie nights. The two double bedrooms, tucked away for privacy, features a comfortable bed and lamps with handy usb ports and a tv in each bedroom. The kitchen, though small, has everything you need to whip up your favourite meals. You appreciate the quaintness and the close proximity to all the town's vibrant attractions, making it your oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Rear secure gated car park. Gates keypad access archway to the front of the building. Main shared front door entry. Stairs leading to flat and inner lobby. Door to stairs leading to apartment. Access to whole apartment. I offer help throughout your stay via messaging or phone call. You will receive a warm welcome message upon check in. I encourage all guests to reach out if they have any questions or concerns during their stay. While it's important to be available, I also respect your privacy. You can enjoy your stay without feeling constantly monitored. I can offer recommendations for local restaurants, shops, and attractions. You will be staying in the heart of Bedford Town Centre with all shops, bars and restaurants in and around. Bedford train station is a 5 minute walk and you can get a train to London. Enjoy a movie at the Vue cinema just a short 10 minute walk and pick up a Dominoes Pizza a few shops away from the apartment. The area is vibrant and lively, like a mini London. In the summer there are many events going on from Festivals and Concerts to local events at The Bedford Corn Exchange, Bedford Esquires and The Place. Midland Road in Bedford is indeed historic with roots going back to the 19th century: • The street was originally known as Well Street (after Colles Well) and appears under that name on the 1861 census. By the 1871 census, it had been renamed Midland Road, reflecting the arrival of the Midland Railway in Bedford in 1857. • The name gradually extended along the full length by 1884. • Buildings along Midland Road are predominantly period flats constructed between 1800 and 1911, making them more than a century old. These characteristic mid-19th‑century terraces are typical of this area. So, whether your interest is historical context or architectural heritage, Midland Road is part of Bedford’s Victorian-era expansion and represents a distinct slice of the town’s 19th‑century development. Most places to visit will be walking distance or via a local taxi. If you are travelling by car, there is free private gated parking at the rear of the apartment. Travelling by train is an easy 5 minute walk to the station. London Luton airport is a short 36 minute drive.
