The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I asked for a recommendation for a nail salon for my mama. The salon they recommended was awesome. The room was clean and fresh. It was an enjoyable stay.
Very nice and let friendly. I am disappointed that I was not refunded my “pet deposit”, as my dog literally slept the whole time and did no damage what so ever.
The room wasn’t ready.
Front desk woke me up after long trip to say I needed to bring my credit card down. Told her I paid on line and she ok I see that never mind.
Only stayed overnight. Tried to call multiple times and couldn’t reach anyone. Someone would pick up and then hang up. Called the corporate office and they were very helpful. But it was suggested that I call directly to ensure that they knew we would be checking in really late. Finally reached someone and was put on hold for over 10 minutes. But, I decided to call back later. When I did no one answered. I called multiple times throughout my drive there. When I arrived I had to wait for someone because she was outside smoking.
The hotel seemed to be quite busy. We had to wait 20 minutes to check in. The queen size beds sit on metal platforms that make noises when you
sit and move in the beds. The shower was not working properly and had minimal pressure. Breakfast was our least favorite part. There was only one person working and there was minimal food because everything kept running out. Garbages were overflowing and tables were dirty bc there was nowhere to throw garbage.
Bathroom floor was sticky, sheets didn’t feel clean. I was put on the first floor in a handicap room because it’s all that was left and someone was vacuuming the lobby at 10:30p when I was trying to sleep. The front desk girl who worked the night of March 23rd appeared to be clueless in every aspect of her job.
Overall, Best Western Plus Beckley offered friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate us, even making waffles for my daughter when we arrived late for breakfast. However, the room was small and the shower was dirty, with noticeable rust and mold issues.
It was a Best Western plus but the beds were uncomfortable, the paint was chipping in the rooms, and was not well maintained. We were not sure what the plus offered.
The property was easy to find and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

A little dated overall. Staff are very good. Elevator was suspect and toilet was having difficulty flushing. Carpets are fraying. Positives are that breakfast was above average and bed was very comfortable. Overall a good choice in that area, would stay again
Friendly staff, easy checkin, nice rooms, mildly dated overall facilities but the rooms themselves were updated and nicely finished. Breakfast was good too
