The double bed is perfect for a restful night’s stay, and the bathroom boasts a spacious shower cubicle. Set off from here and take the pathway leading you to Ashwater village, with its popular inn. The surrounding area is filled with rolling hills and magnificent scenery. The wide golden sands of Bude and Widemouth Bay are just 15 miles away, with excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks, shopping, leisure facilities, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Holsworthy, 5 miles, has a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market. The market towns of Okehampton and Launceston, with their historic castle, are a short drive away. To have a break from cooking, there are several good pubs and restaurants close by. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks make for a great day out. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer close by, and Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers. The property is close to the water sports centre at Roadford Lake, where many activities can be enjoyed. With so much to discover in this lovely part of North Devon, this is the perfect choice for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
