GORGEOUS OCEAN FRONT 3BR UNIT!!! This spacious, 1500 square feet, corner unit has panoramic views of the Fripp Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean! Every room in the unit has a view of the water. The condo features two king-sized beds in the bedrooms with a queen-sized bed the 3rd guest bedroom, The downstairs has a large living room which opens through sliding glass doors to a deck. Here, one has unobstructed views of the sunrise. Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking. Though tennis courts abound, Fripp is best known for GOLF with the Ocean Point Golf Course having a breathtaking layout with holes reaching along the Inlet and the Ocean. Ocean Creek Course is a Davis Love, III course, noted by Golf Magazine on opening as a top ten new course. Our unit is across the road from the Ocean Point Club House but also directly on the water - our deck being only a few feet from the waters edge, you can watch dolphins play and pelicans fly overhead. The Resort offers a range of dining at five locations and many more opportunities lie on the road back to the Mainland and in Beaufort. Shops are on the Island and in Beaufort that offer a variety of gifts and accessories as well as antiques and art gallery collections. For youth aged three to eight, there is a nature-based camp (Camp Fripp) and teen events for ages 12-17\. The golf course has a Wee Links setup for the junior golfer making this an ideal spot for a relaxing family vacation. This 3000 acre, gated resort offers three and a half miles of beach offering sand dollars, shells, and starfish. The Island is host to wildlife such as deer, alligators, birds, and turtles. Her natural beauty is evident all around and it's obvious why Hollywood chose Fripp as a site in Forrest Gump, The Jungle Book, and The Prince of Tides. Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards. A 4 seat golf cart will be included for new reservations booked after 4/15/24 Free WiFi Internet access throughout the unit. TRAILERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE PARKED IN THE GARAGE. Generally speaking there is no beach near the property. Depending on tides a small beach may appear at very low tide. To access the Fripp Island beach, simply head south until you reach Dolphin Road. There are many beach access points off of south Dolphin and adjacent roads. Pets - not allowed If this property offers club cards for access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, a new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards. After booking this property, VRBO will charge their service fee separately and then the reservation will be transferred to FrippIslandStay where the property owner or manager will charge your credit card for the other items seen in the quote provided by VRBO. The refundable security deposit if applicable will be included in the final payment. However this changed when you unpack or take your shoes off. Floor did not appear swept at all. About a foot-size pile of sand & dust & dog hair with just a quick sweep of the main floor. Beach place & sand are somewhat expected but would expect the main flooring to be freshly cleaned on arrival. Dresser drawers needed cleaning to unpack. Rugs in bedrooms full of sand. Very peaceful and relaxing. Decorated beautifully. Could have used a good deep clean (major dust bunnies on baseboards and at ceilings and some dirty walls), but it was clean enough. We only had about 5 washclothes for 4 adults for 4 nights, so had to call and get more. Had a ton of towels though. Check out included starting a load of towels and since we had not planned on doing any washing we did not have detergent so we had to run and get some. Beds were wonderful. Upstairs toilet sounded like it would eat you, but I think thats just the kind of toilet it was. All in all an amazing stay. Would def sleep there again!!!!! ##### Becky R. Sadly once settled we realized although the heat was turned on it was not warming up. My husband happens to be an HVAC tech so he offered to look at it and found that it was unable to be repaired in a timely manner. We were in communication of this the whole time. We were told that another technician would be there the next morning meaning we would have to spend the first night in a 59° condo. It would have been nice if some space heaters were offered. The next day we were told that we could move to another property which was a nice beachfront house. We did appreciate the upgrade but wish we wouldn't have had to waste time packing up and moving again, but they did make it right by allowing us a late checkout to make up for some of the lost time. The other thing that was very disappointing was that we paid over $150 to purchase amenity cards and no one even asked if we had them the one time we were able to dine on the island... ##### Kendell W. The villa was decorated nice but as a homeowner I would hire new cleaners. You can tell they pay no attention to detail at all. This was the first time staying in a condo vs a house. The views from every room were spectacular! The updated kitchen was well appointed and beautifully chosen. It had everything we needed and more. Loved the cabinets and counters and the farmhouse sink. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. If I have any complaints it’s simply the wear and tear and cleanliness. I understand it’s a rental and lots of people stay there. I just don’t want to see evidence of their having been there. I had to give the kitchen a good scrubbing before I felt comfortable preparing food there. Lots of crumbs and sticky surfaces. The cabinet doors and appliances were greasy and food splattered. The baseboards throughout are really dirty and the paint is very scuffed and marked. It just looks worn out. The towels were mismatched and worn and the elastic on the fitted sheets was shot so the sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed.
