"Very clean, quaint cottage. Nice size bedroom with comfortable mattress. The kitchen was outfitted with everything needed. Cottage is located within walking distance to Front Street, the Old Graveyard, historic center/visitor's center, the Maritime Museum etc. I feel in love with this quiet, friendly town and plan to return in the future."

"Wonderful location to the water front. House was clean and accommodating. Seeing the original key to the house added to the houses nostalgia. Great location to visit Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout. The owners were out of town during our visit but still made sure we enjoyed some shrimp. Shout out to Dace for helping with our questions and his food recommendations while his parents were out of town. Hope to return next year."

"The house as listed is small but we found it be a perfect size for us. It was very clean when we arrived and came with all the appliances we would ever need on vacation. It is well set up for a vacation and obviously someone has spent a lot of time, effort and I imagine money in refurbishing it at some point. The location is quiet and as described in the listing very close to the waterfront. We would rent again if coming back to the area which we may well do as it is a nice part of the country."

"I selected Janet's apartment because it fit our need. We were four and the space was right for our needs. Also, I am a Beaufort native and I recognized the name of the hostess as a member of a family with whom I was familiar. My family had a very comfortable stay. The facilities were described precisely and the hostess helped us enjoy our stay."

"My husband and I along with our son and his family enjoyed our stay. Home is quiet and well appointed. Our only suggestion is to add a lamp or two in the den as the one lamp was tough for putting together puzzles. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!"

"If you love beautiful sunrises, watching the dolphins in the sound and a quiet neighborhood then this is the rental for you. The kids loved riding the bikes. We rented a golf cart and as it was just a short drive to town, we took it everywhere. The home was very clean and spacious. The kitchen did lack some amenities like a single serve coffee maker, but the drip coffee maker worked fine. We enjoyed sitting on the dock drinking our morning coffee and fishing. "We really enjoyed our stay at Beaufort Hotel. This was our dog's first beach trip, and the hotel is super pet friendly. We even took him to the hotel bar to enjoy some music. The only thing I dislike about the hotel is that unless you pay for valet service, you have to walk about a half mile to your car. "

"Location was perfect for parking the car and walking downtown to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a full kitchen. The covered commons area right outside our door provided additional space for relaxing and enjoying some fresh air."
