This 3 bedroom (sleeps 6), two bath home features beautiful marsh views and a beautiful yard with fire pit for your enjoyment. This home is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for meal prep in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Take a bike ride or a walk along the Spanish Moss Trail only two blocks away. The waterfront Downtown Beaufort is a short drive away and only a 10 minute ride to Parris Island if you're looking to visit for a Marine Graduation! We provide our guests with one Hunting Island Car Pass to be used as many times as you'd like during your stay. We live locally and can't wait to share our charming Cottage and town amenities with you! SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: (Sleeps 6) \* Queen size master bedroom w/ stand up shower \* Twin size bedroom with an additional Twin trundle bed \* Third bedroom offers a Double bed \* Shared full bathroom w/ tub and shower combo AMENITIES: \* (1) Adult size bicycle (optional 2nd bike available with fee $25.00 if needed) \* Backyard area w/ Fire Pit (Firewood not provided) \* Fully equipped Kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils (pans, flatware, dinnerware) \* High speed internet access with WiFi \* Linens (sheets, towels etc.) \* Modern kitchen appliances \* Washer and dryer \* Propane gas grill \* Ceiling fans \* Drip Coffee Maker The Queen master bedroom has a private bath and closet space with serene water views. The open layout combines the living area with a Smart TV and a Chef's kitchen complete with all equipment and spices with a breakfast bar (seating for 3). Enjoy your morning coffee sitting in the backyard area under the Spanish moss canopy of Southern live oaks and pines or roasting marshmallows at night at the outdoor fire pit. Our cozy Cottage offers our guests their own piece of paradise here in the Lowcountry. \*\*Area Info\*\* Beaufort, SC is a wonderful area to visit. The Henry C. Chambers waterfront Park located off of Bay Street is only minutes away. Many guests enjoy walking there to take in the scenic views of the Spanish Moss and southern architect. Beaufort offers many different activities year round such as: festivals, fishing, boating, local seafood cuisine, Port Royal Farmers Market, history museums, outdoor events, and much more! The town of Port Royal is less than a 5 minute ride from the home as well and offers a public beach that we call "Sands Beach." Hunting Island State Park and Beach (a must do!) is a 20 minute ride from our cottage. There is a beach pass provided at no cost (however if this is lost or not returned there is a charge of $125.00 ). All these activities and dining options are right around the corner from Water's Edge Cottage! My husband made friends with the next door weekends only neighbor and biked from the house daily (he travels with his bike). I loved that there was a bike available to use in the shed (altho I didn’t end up using it). The downtown part of Beaufort would be very accessible by bike. You could walk too but when it’s hot, it was easier to just drive. We had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, there were no weird smells like we have encountered at other places, no issues with mold. We enjoyed having ceiling fans. We never had reason to contact the owner nor they us so I can’t tell you what communication would be like. The view outside in backyard of the marsh is beautiful. But bring bug spray! :)We would def stay again. ##### Joanie B. House was very clean. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Perfect location, convenient to Beaufort Center, Spanish Moss Trail, 1 mile to Publix by car. Firm queen mattress. Good size master bedroom. Lots of closet space. Good sized, well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of hot water for showers. Good water pressure. Private back yard overlooking marsh. Very relaxed setting. ##### Emmett B. A question that we had was answered promptly. We usually rent places that are more secluded, so we were apprehensive about being in a neighborhood. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. We would definitely recommend this property. The homeowner and property manager were great to work with. ##### Gary J. The host helped meet our every needs and was more than accommodating during Hurricane Helene. The number of beds and their sizes were as described in the home description. The futon in one bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. This bed was lacking pillow cases and the sheets did not fit the piece. ##### Jeanny M. It was better than described and the kitchen was amazing. Fully stocked with everything you need to make a family meal. We visited our son who is stationed in Beaufort at air base and we were able to make him some cooked meals during our visit and also invite some of his Marine buddies to eat as well. A huge perk to this property. Liked the state park pass too. So close to downtown Beaufort and a short drive to Savannah GA. Enjoyed spending the evenings in backyard watching the tide roll in…..this is a great spot for birding too! If you are planning to spend time in Beaufort this is the place to be. ##### Patrick S.
