Only a short walk from Beaufort’s thriving waterfront and a quick drive to the downtown restaurants/shops/art district and Spanish Moss Trail, our light filled, cozy cottage is designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck, unwind by the fire pit, or simply relax on the couch - it\`s the perfect spot to call home after exploring the SC beaches/parks with our complimentary beach pass. An ideal space for families, couples and small groups! This sun-filled 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage was designed to have a cozy low country feel with modern conveniences. Just a short drive from Beaufort\`s lively downtown and arts district, waterfront restaurants and shops and the gorgeous Spanish Moss Trail, the best of Beaufort is at your fingertips! We offer a complimentary beach pass with access to South Carolina beaches and state parks. This includes free admission to the historic lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park and the historic Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park. Inside: \- Beautiful, fully stocked kitchen that opens onto the back deck, ideal for staying in to cook family meals or enjoy late night drinks \- Living room with large comfortable couch (also is a queen sleeper sofa) and smart TV \- Primary bedroom with queen bed, ceiling fan and plenty of closet space \- Second bedroom with two twin beds (can be converted to a king bed with advance notice) and ceiling fan \- Full bathroom with shower and tub \- Dining room with seating for 4 - or can also be the perfect spot to work from home (if you must!) \-Washer/dryer with complimentary laundry supplies Outside: \- Back deck with patio furniture \-Gas grill \- Big backyard for your pup and/or kids to run around \- Fire pit with Adirondack chairs Guests have access to the entire home with the exception of one owner\`s closet. We\`re happy to help with suggestions for places to go, but we will never be overbearing. Our home is located across the street from a wonderful park and playground and is about a mile walk from downtown Beaufort’s Waterfront Park. Port Royal is the closest beach, but our favorite is Hunting Island Beach which is about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic. We are 45 minutes from Hilton Head and 1.5 hours from Charleston. Taxi service and Ubers are available, but having a personal vehicle is recommended if you wish to see all the attractions that the area has to offer! We do offer a military/military families discount - send us a message when inquiring about your dates! Dog Policy We are dog friendly and there is a $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs max). This does not cover any damage or yard clean up and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. We have a fully fenced yard, but the back fence is our neighbors not ours and there may be small holes around the property, do not leave dogs unattended outside. Please note that cats are not allowed due to guest allergies. Our house is located on a main road, while road noise is minimized at night, there is a possibility of hearing cars during the day. Each bedroom has a sound machine. Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend\`s home and we will do our best to make you feel like you\`re a friend staying with us! We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever. While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays. It is small but the interior is very cute and comfortable. The location is convenient for enjoying downtown Beaufort, but not exactly walking distance. My only suggestions would be to add additional window treatments to the front door and spare bedroom windows for privacy. Also the yard needs some work. There’s no grass.
