Guests will find themselves near all the coastal amenities of the NC Crystal Coast while staying in a comfortable fully accessorized home just a short walk to Beaufort's Front Street. Enjoy specialty shops, restaurants, Maritime Museum, the Beaufort Board walk as well as beautiful panoramic views of the southern outer banks all are a two block walk from the cottage. Beaufort has been named the 'Coolest, Friendliest Small Town ' in the USA and its a vacation destination by visitors from all over country. Anchors Aweigh is decorated in a "coastal theme" that is both roomy and comfortable. Accommodations include living room area and a downstairs bedroom, fully stocked kitchen has stove, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and dining area that seats 9\. An upstairs loft easily sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a separate area that has a trundle with two twin beds (Note cottage has one bathroom that is located on first floor). A second shower/bath facility is located in the back yard next to the shed. Wi-Fi services , 2 TV's and DVD included. A private fenced covered patio area has outdoor benches (that convert to a picnic table), gas grill. and an outdoor sink for fish cleaning. The cottage is pet friendly for a small pet fee. Backyard shed has washer/ dryer / folding table. Adult and youth bikes are available for your use. There is ample onsite parking for 2 cars and/or trailered boat. Owners operate a 'seafood' business so fresh seasonal shellfish is readily available. My wife, daughter, two grandchildren and I spent five days at Anchors Aweigh while visiting Beaufort for a wedding of another daughter. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location where we could walk just about everywhere. The husband of the host is a commercial fisherman and prepared a plate of fresh caught shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce for us. Nice people. ##### Jeff W. Sue and Joe have thought of everything including emergency lights, books, games and even a basket of snacks. Location is great for walking into town but on a busy street. The house was spacious and comfortable and the hosts were so kind. We enjoyed meeting them upon arrival! The location was ideal for walking everywhere. It was the perfect place to stay with our dog. It is not run by property management, and the owners live nearby. The owners added several extras not found in other rentals such as many condiments and a bowl of packaged snacks. Pet friendly. Outdoor area to enjoy with the dogs. Location is great. It's close to a coffee shop. The town is super cute. A short drive to the ferry. Plenty of activities. ##### Cheryl V. Sue was amazing host. She stopped by to ensure our check in process went well and to see if there was anything she could do for us. They even brought us a healthy amount of steamed shrimp from their market! It was delicious too!! The house is a very short 6 minute walk to the waterfront where all the stores and restaurants are which is great. We will definitely put this house on our first look any time we come back to Beaufort. ##### Corey L. We came for the Beaufort Ghost Walk. From this cute cottage we could walk to our destination. The hosts, Joe and Sue are wonderful. They brought us shrimp cocktail and were a joy to talk to. Beautiful quiet cottage and a lovely place to stay especially for those traveling with a pet. The kitchen was very well supplied with both cooking necessities as well as bowls for pets, doggy cleanup bags, doggy treats, etc. I think my dog had a great time just looking out the window and watching people go by up and down the street. And of course being on Turner Street, access to the waterfront and historic area is excellent being literally just down the street and within walking distance from the cottage. Sue was so kind and hospitable and checked on me to see if there was anything I needed. I look forward to returning someday. ##### Lee W. The property was perfect for our stay scuba diving in the area. Situated near Moorehead City, area resturants, and Waterfront/Dive Shops. Property was clean with every ammenity we could have needed and the hosts went above and beyond and were gracious hosts. Outside area with sink,shower, and bathroom were perfect after a day of diving and scuba gear rinsing/drying. Highly recommend and looking forward to a return visit. ##### Benjamin Z.
