We also reccomend not going upstairs in the outdoor buildings as they are old...though you may want to sneak up the stairs in the games barn and tale a peak at the "Van Gogh" fresco on the wall! Other things to note Take care on the well-trod historic stairs in the charming guesthouse.
The vibrant Beaucaire festival takes place in late July (usually starting 21st July) during which bulls run through the streets and other festivities and events take place. This time of year is not suitable for guests seeking peace and tranquillity, especially as the bullring is just behind the property. Its is however super fun if you want to get involved in local traditions!

We had traveled from England to Beaucaire and arrived in the evening. Laurence was there to guide us in. We had everything we needed and more. It’s an old house and old houses have quirks but all very manageable. Also the decor is beautiful.
This estate is absolutely gorgeous! We truly felt like the lord and lady of the chateau. It was also a wonderful base from which to see so much of Provence, from St-Remy-les-Provence to the Chateau-Les-Baux, Gordes, Arles and more. Laurence and Emma were wonderful hosts. Since we were there over a week, it was nice that the kitchen had all the amenities plus more, like a professional coffee maker. The pool was also perfect to cool down in the heat. The property is just beautiful with very old trees and so much provincial charm. We had fresh orange juice and even fresh figs off the tree. We were there during a heat wave, but luckily there are good AC unit in the master bedroom and small house and the stone walls and shutters kept the rest of the house relatively cool. Beaucaire and Tarascon are also lovely little towns with so much going on in June/July. We caught an equestrian event, the Tarascon festival, saw local bull runs, and both villages have gorgeous castles in various states of ruin/splendor. It was a magical stay in the south of France for us.
