It has a gas log fireplace and large hot tub to relax in. The living room has new furniture and a 42' TV. The cabin has central heat & air for your comfort. The huge yard has a picnic shelter and large front porch with a porch swing, rocking chairs, table and chairs. The open deck has large table and chairs with a charcoal/gas grill. Linens and towels provided. It was a bit difficult to find so refer to written directions (not GPS, no carrier service). Arrive when it is light! Very remote (which has it's pluses). We had three adults, but a family of up to 7 could easily fit. The whirlpool was lovely and condiments in fridge and coffee. We couldn't figure out the fireplace and the outdoor shower wasn't set up. Bring your own firewood if you want to use the firepit (we did not). In the area be sure to check out the sky lift, natural bridge, Chimney top hike, Zipline adventure. We tried an 8.5 mi kayak down river which was rougher than expected (each tipped over in currents), but we did it! Red River Rockhouse was a great place to eat! Not a lot of shopping nearby. We wanted to stay close enough to Red River Gorge, but away from all the hustle and bustle and the cabin’s location was perfect. We were within 15-30 minutes driving from all the RRG activities we wanted to do. The cabin is very well maintained, clean, cozy and has everything you may need: fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, bedding, etc. We loved that the cabin had a spacious grass yard for the kids to run around.
