This waterfront, 3 bedrooms, 1.5-bath home has a full kitchen, open dining and living area, and only a short drive or boat ride to Seaside Heights. The house has water views from the front and back with a bird sanctuary providing stunning views to enjoy sunsets. Step out the back to a large spacious deck that overlooks an extra-wide lagoon with 60 feet of dock to accommodate your boat or jet ski. The house is close to several waterfront restaurants and a short walk to local Butler Beach and an adjacent marina to rent kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. The John C. Bartlett, Jr. County Park at Berkeley Island is five minutes away and features a family-oriented spray park, playground, walking paths, small picnic areas, bait stations, and more. This house was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. It was very clean and comfortable for my family of five. In a great location! We fished and crabbed off the back dock. There’s a small beach and a long pier at the end of the development. There were plenty of dishes and appliances in the kitchen. The only issue we had was that the bedding was not all available when we got there even though the listing says bedsheets are provided. I messaged the host and he was unaware that it was missing but he came out within a few hours with bedsheets and blankets. Gary was very accommodating and informative in regards to local stores, restaurants, and boat rentals. The home is very well equipped, and was more than comfortable for the four of us. We enjoyed the yard on the water, things were easy to find in the kitchen, comfortable beds and couches. The house is not far from local beaches, and the neighbors were all very nice and welcoming. Quiet, safe neighborhood, and deck overlooking the marshes. Place was clean, and had many extras that we did not expect. Beds were comfy, pillows not so much. However, we are very particular about our pillows...... The only complaint, if you want to call it that, is the kitchen is missing a lot of items for cooking. Only one small fry pan, a saute fry pan, and a few sauce pans. Nothing for cooking in the oven. After reading the write up, I assumed I would be able to roast a chicken in the oven, and went to the grocery store before checking in. Had to cook it on the grill. No roasting pan, or baking pans. The area is close enough to everything to have fun, but in a perfect area for quiet and natural beauty.
