There are always small things that could be done better or differently to improve but this host hits a home run incorporating the small details (complementary waters, and wine in the fridge, snacks and another bottle of wine on the counter). The property was as billed in the descriptions and a nice quiet hideaway. Instructions on accessing the lock could have been better but quick response from the property manager equal out the confusion with the instructions. Remember no vacation or property is perfect but how everyone responds to those imperfections makes all the difference in the world. Would book again! And again! My wife and I brought our boat and the house had plenty of space for it. The only knocks I could give are minor and if you’re familiar to the area, very common. The hot water had a very strong sulfur smell at first but once we flushed everything out it was fine. The second knock is lawn maintenance which was certainly an over site. The grass was calf high and the downstairs area which is very nice, wasn’t used because of an abundance of rodent scat (which is common in the bayou). Overall I would stay here again. ##### Curtis B.
