Right from the start, the cleanliness was unacceptable—there were crumbs all over the carpet and even a spork left on the floor, making it clear the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.We were only provided with two bath towels and one fingertip towel for a multi-day stay, which is completely inadequate. There were no washcloths, no extra towels, and no body wash in the shower. We had to use shampoo just to wash ourselves. We also only had enough coffee for one day, despite being there for multiple days, and were left with very little toilet paper, which also needed to be requested. and a sign saying not to flush toilet paper .. To top it off, there is a loud and persistent dog barking that continued into the early morning hours, which made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.Overall, this rental lacked even the most basic amenities and cleanliness standards, and our stay was frustrating and uncomfortable as a result. We travel with our dogs. It can be difficult finding a place that is clean, pet friendly and in a great location. This place has all three. I would definitely stay again. ##### Gina V. The room was well cared for; the bed was VERY comfortable and it had a wide screen TV with access to Netflix and other options. We were a little worried about not knowing how we would get a key and e-mailed the owner several times without getting a response before we were on the road and without internet access, but it worked out fine. But was very happy with the location and the room was very nice and has plenty of space for a studio! Much better than any motel or hotel room and I definitely would stay here again on my trip back to New York for my family vacation! Host was nice and helpful helping me get in! I recommend it as I totally felt comfortable and safe! ##### John P.
