"The Kearney cottage was exactly as depicted. A beautiful small town location with a great walking trail close by. Great location for our day trips to experience the Muskoka Fall colours. Erica, the host was very attentive and provided a quick response to my registration request and to any other questions. We would have rated it a 5 overall but there was a small issue with the cleanliness of the floors which the host will follow up on with her cleaning service. We would definitely recommend this rental."

"Have stayed at this hotel multiple times a year for a very long time. As always a great breakfast and staff. However rooms appear to need some minor upkeeping. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms was fine. Tv was fading and the room showed some signs of needing to be touched up. Still highly recommend for its location, staff and breakfast."

"We enjoyed our weekend at Carines cabin! The cabin and outhouse were very clean and honestly had everything you needed. It was quiet and relaxing. Listening to the river while hanging out or falling asleep was very nice. We went down to the river a few times but it is quite steep though manageable! Even though the main house is near by, we were very comfortable and had tons of privacy! I’d definitely recommend! Activity wise, Brooks falls is very close and a lovely little hike! Clear lake was also close by and very nice. For anyone wanting a minimalist little get away to unwind, I’d totally recommend!!"
