"We come to this area multiple times a year for rock hunting,hiking, etc. We have been by this house hundreds of times and when we found out we could actually stay here we jumped on it. This was a weekend for the peak of the Eta Aquariids meteor shower and our normal outings. Had awsome sunset and 1 night of clear skys. Walked across the street and did some rock hunting. Grandson tested the water and he also had a blast even shivering! No reservations about recommending or renting this place...

Drove by x 2 looking for crossroad; property drive RIGHT OFF (two line) highway. Much traffic noise, daytime. Good restaurant across street. Group of cabins on pretty inland lake. One property building is ‘fish cleaning house’, so must be good fishing, here. 🐟"

"It was my first time in Petoskey, it’s a beautiful town and the location of the cottage was perfect. Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. The cottage was a little worn and not very clean. The carpets were stained and the back door screen was torn. But the location and scenery made up for it. Will definitely stay again."

"Lovely property in an ideal setting. Stunning sunsets and the wind rustling through the trees was so peaceful. The property was, in the words of college bound teens, “sooo cozy and charming”. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout was perfect for our group to give everyone their own space, but also have a good common space. The location was close to the ski hill, though I will say the roads during a snow storm can get dicey. Even with slow driving, we were still able to make it to the hill in 15 minutes or so. "This was a perfect location for our weekend getaway with two other families with young kids. The house had even more beds than advertised and the layout of the house was great for adults and kids to have their own space. Tons of kids toys and games stocked which was an unexpected perk! Only con I can think of is there is a picture of a keurig so we brought our kcups but it turns out there is only a regular coffee pot. Not a biggie cause it’s only 10 minutes from meijer."
