This cute cottage is clean and comfortable! Perfect for a couple, small family or a few friends to enjoy some time on the coast. Located on the Intercoastal Waterway, the views and fishing are hard to beat. You are sure to love watching the barges, pelicans and dolphins go by in the ICW. Walk just across the street to get to the beach too! The home has 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom upstairs. The sofa is a pullout bed and there is also a foldout floor mattress that is great for children. There is a full kitchen with all of the basics, as well as wifi and Smart TV. On the ground level, there is an outdoor shower with privacy walls. There is a bathroom and washer/dryer combo in the ground level room as well. Private pier equipped with green fishing light and cleaning station. There is a charcoal grill available for guests, as well as outdoor seating and a chiminea! As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. Clean, comfortable bed. Can't beat the dock on the Intercoastal Waterway. You can walk across the street to the beach. This is my only complaint. Unless it is low tide there is no beach, just granite rocks placed for beach erosion. However you can drive down the road to a beach access and have a wide, fairly secluded beach. About 1/2 mile. The posting was thorough (and 100% accurate upon arrival), booking was extremely simple, and communication prior to my arrival was thorough without being obtrusive.While it's a simple beach cottage, it's \*spotlessly\* clean, beautifully well-appointed, and is not missing a single thing. The front porch looking toward the beach is a great place to relax. The kitchen is spacious and lacks nothing. The furniture is comfortable and the bathroom is a great size, even if it's shared. The utility room under the house is large, clean, and great for storing gear (and has ice available for sale, very convenient). The bathroom in the utility room is clutch, too; that should be standard in properties like this.For fishermen, the private pier is the standout for the property. Shade, space, rod holders, a bench, lighting, electricity, and a cleaning station with running water. We spent hours there each day and enjoyed every minute.A friend & I spent a long weekend there, and I will definitely be back with my family. On that note, for others who may be in a similar family situation: my wife & I have two teenage sons; this property would be great for the four of us for a long, say 4-day weekend stay. Any longer than that and we would likely want a larger property. This is not intended to be a negative comment! The ocean across the street. We love to fish so the intercoastal access was a plus. The walkway to it was easy and the dock was great with lights, a cleaning station, and ample room to get around. House is a comfy fishing cabin-like place that has all essentials (except shower soap & shampoo! Haha), thankfully I had spares. Bed and pull out couch were comfortable and we slept well. Quiet area with little traffic, especially at night. Pier was the star of the show for my son and I. The cover on part of the pier was an absolute lifesaver to stay out of the sun as much as possible. The cleaning station is great and the lights at night were awesome. We used the on-site crab traps and caught 10 or so undersized blue crabs and maybe 5 keepers. Also caught a really nice sized stone crab and harvested a giant claw from that guy. We caught quite a few fish, a couple keeper trout, a keeper redfish, keeper flounder, and a few more barely undersized of each of those species along with a small black drum. Only one hardhead if you can believe that. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the owners of this property for making it a great stay and we look forward to coming back and staying soon! ##### Nathan F. We spent the day at the beach and evenings on the dock fishing. We caught enough crabs for a small boil. Everyone also caught at least one fish. Trip was successful! We don't fish much, but it's a perfect spot if you do. I thought we'd spend most of our time on the beach, but my absolute favorite was sitting on the dock of the waterway watching the sun set every night. The view looks over the water and the marshes across the way and it is so quiet but teeming with life-- birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. Can't wait to go back. ##### Meagan M.
