My parents and I stayed at Shirley's Temple for a week and really enjoyed it. The home was updated and very neat and clean. Sitting out on the deck and watching the boat traffic on the weekend was fun! Because my parents are elderly, the size of the bathroom was a bit of an issue. It is tiny so keep that in mind if you are traveling with someone who is larger or has special needs. The location is close to all of the stores and restaurants off of Wilder Rd. and to Bay City State Park. If you're looking for a place to get away in the Bay City area, this is a great choice. Creeped out, we reached out to the owner as they had not informed us that they would be getting maintenance done on the home DURING our vacation. It was a huge disappointment to not be able to utilize our outside space our last day or to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet indoors.
