In other words- great fishing, miles of beaches and beautiful Texas bay sunsets! Enjoy fishing and crabbing on your private pier, day and night, equipped with crab traps and lights for night fishing, grilling and relaxing. The cabin is conveniently located a quarter mile between The Crab Trap Restaurant and Charlie's Bait Camp/boat launch. Our new home includes open, bright, inviting space. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen with plenty of seating, and living area surrounded by open windows welcome you when you walk in to the home. The master includes a king bed with an overhead rain shower in the bathroom. One guest room includes a queen dresser and closet, and the other guest room includes 2 bunk queens (4 queens), with storage drawers underneath. Outside includes a large private pier, equipped with crab traps, and a light for night fishing. There is also a propane grill, seating area, and porch swing located under the house. Note- this listing is for "High Tide". You may notice "Low Tide" - this is also our property, located right next door. Let us know if you have a large group coming in for weddings, family reunions, etc. and would like to reserve both for larger groups. Very important: IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLOSURE: THIS PROPERTY AND CREEK IS NOT FENCED NOR DOES IT HAVE A SAFETY FENCE OR ANY SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE THAT WOULD PREVENT A SWIMMING RELATED ACCIDENT. My husband and I had a wonderful few days at your beautiful home. We chanced the rainy forecast and were so glad we did. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The wifi worked well, allowing me to work from the house while my husband fished. The dock was nice and had some shade. We were not able to locate any crab traps but brought our own and caught 6 or 7 crabs on fresh dead bait. The only complaint I had was the master shower had no where to stand to bathe without feeling like you were drowning. It had the rain shower head on the ceiling and a shower head on the wall. The house was immaculate & the beds were very comfortable. However, the queen bunk bed room is extremely small with no space, place or closet to store luggage or any personal belongings and has no ceiling fan. It worked fine for us because we only had one couple staying in the room. Our only issue was that the internet went out and there was no basic cable. Someone did come in to resolve the issue with no success. So, I would suggest bringing a DVD player and DVDs if TV is a must. The coffee pot was for regular ground coffee, so I brought my own pod coffee maker. The location was perfect ... very close to the intercostal waterway, not too far up Caney Creek, had a $5 boat launch a few lots down on the east side at Charlie's Bait Camp and a free boat launch a few lots down on the west side at The Crabshack Restaurant (which had excellent food, but call and make reservations). We were able to dock all 3 of our boats at the pier - a 22' center console bay boat, a 22' tritoon and a smaller fishing boat. The lights at the fishing pier were not green fishing lights. The internet was working the first night and I do understand that things happen. So, I'm giving the overall rating of a 4 only because of the tiny queen bunk bed room and the fact that there was no place to store any luggage or personal belongings.
