The house is a perfect place to experience nature yet still have access to all the conveniences of city life! The queen beds & spacious walk-in shower are so welcoming. A deck overlooks a 1/2 acre pond that is spring-fed and stocked with trout, so try some fishing! If that isn't enough for you, private hiking access to state land is just across the street or five minutes down the road is battleground lake, where you can swim or fish there. There was four of us, for a three night stay. We had an event at the Saddle Club, about 7 miles away, and it worked out well. It was a quick ride and so much better than a hotel. Two bedrooms, the queen beds were comfortable. Nice shower, TV, WlFi. Lunch out on the deck was very quiet and peaceful. It seemed to be a good, central location between the lake (37 minutes) and the town of Battle Ground (15 minutes) if we needed groceries/supplies. The property is on a private dead end road and was clean, tidy and quiet. The hosts are super friendly and responded quickly to anything we needed. Their dog, Ruby Sunshine, is the sweetest girl. There was room for our truck and 18' boat/trailer, although it could be a little tricky backing everything into the driveway for the inexperienced, and the paved road leading to the property is very steep. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again if/ when I return. ##### Chad P. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and fell in love with Washington! This little slice of heaven was nestled away in the countryside and backed up to breathtaking views. It was so quiet and peaceful…literally a breath of fresh air. Everything was so clean and Trent, was so accommodating. He made sure we were 100% happy and comfortable. Also miss Ruby Sunshine, the owners golden retriever was the cherry on top! If you like dogs, you will LOVE her, by far the best greeting committee we have seen.
