Was central to what we needed to do. Parking was confusing and not easily accessible for transporting luggage. No real accessible drive up area for hotel. No safe in room

Chose this property for the location (safety) and proximity to Perkins road. Hotel was very clean and we felt safe. Our rooms had a few issues, the flooring was warped by the window causing the bed closest to the window to be wobbly and make a loud noise every time some sat down. Second issue we had was the AC. I sleep in the cold and that thermostat claimed it was on 62-it was NOT! I sweated most of the night. I mentioned the AC to staff and just got an “sorry for the inconvenience”and nothing else!

This is the second time I have stayed here: once for a conference and once for a family LSU game. This hotel never disappoints with its beautiful lobby and first floor, easy access to a nice gym, cozy beds with all the necessities, and prime real estate in Baton Rouge area.

I didnt have any issues. I read all the amenties on the website so i didn't do anything extra to incur any additional charges. The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was clean, but smaller than i expected. I don't know if I'll return because I've been to cheaper hotels in Baton Rouge and the space, cleaniness, and amenties were better.

Handicapped parking was extremely too far when our handicap is walking.
I requested bottom floor and find there is no bottom floor!
I would not recommend this if you have major operation at spine hospital.
Expedia, you failed me when you wanted to charge me an additional $20 for motel if cancel while this motel was having a free cancellation to a certain point. Shame on you for not observing the opportunity as we work things out as I had to change rooms.
The concierge was very kind since Expedia messed up reservations and cause my room not to be ready until nearly 5 in the evening.
It was inconvenient and will think twice before staying there again.
It was extremely noisy downstairs and not a lot of smiling. Some.. but it seemed unhappy there.
Other than this, our room did fit our handicap. The beds were comfy.

My husband & I went for a long weekend for our 33 wedding anniversary. Our reservation was for a King room. When we got to our room it was a Queen, handicap room. Handicap shower & no tub. I talked to the front desk who talked to the manager and said there was nothing they could do that night but check first thing in the morning. When I called down the next morning the manager was absolutely rude and said my reservation was not for a King room and there was nothing she could do. I called Expedia and they verified my reservation was for a King. Two expedia representatives called the hotel and talked to the manager and said “That Manager is Rude and that is absolutely unacceptable”! Expedia found us another hotel and took care of the cost of our stay at the other hotel! This is why I always book with Expedia!! Although Renaissance Hotel was horrible, Expedia turned a bad situation into a Great Weekend!
