Hotel is nice and staff are very friendly. The room was very small and had no air conditioning so was hot and stuffy. Needs a coat of paint here and there. No housekeeping service at the moment, we stayed for 4 nights and nothing was replenished.

Beautiful location, great staff, needs sprucing up
The hotel is in a beautiful location and the service was excellent, both checking in and checking out. We booked an executive room and the 4 poster bed was an interesting part of the stay. The hotel internal condition is quite tired and although it did not spoil our visit it would certainly bring the experience to a whole other level. The old house feel with sloping floors should stay but the carpets, paintwork an so on could easily be upgraded. We had full English breakfast and it was served on a tray to comply with Covid restrictions and was good although there was no choice of how your eggs were cooked we were happy with the quality. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area of the country.
