Second year staying at Cedar Lodge. Traveling 6hrs, the house was such an easy fit for our group. Ample parking, comfortable beds with sheets and towels provided. Whereas some rentals skimp on a single roll of toilet paper and trash bags Cedar Lodge does not. They go as far as also providing the little extras like shampoo and even spare toothbrush. Not to mention the 5 resort passes which are clutch! This year the owners added a new hot tub which is easily accessible from the lower level game room with separate towels. Cedar Lodge is a great find.

We had a lovely weekend enjoying a family wedding at the resort. Rated skiing one star as it wouldn’t let me not rate the experience as it’s not ski season. The house was clean, we enjoyed the theme.

Hidden Gem

House was easy to find, level spacious parking and had enough room for good adult /kid separation. From my kids “Amazing hot tub & game room”, “really fun pool table & darts”. I was skeptical at first with the extent of decor but the house surpassed expectations. It was clean, comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen and toiletries. Super convenient to Bryce Resort. Looking forward to rebooking next year.

Family Trip to Bryce

As soon as we walked in, we knew we would love this property. The house was so comfy and cozy. Really cute aesthetic and decor - you knew you were on the mountains. Also very clean and organized with new dishes and well kept appliances.

Perfect family vacation

This wonderful lodge has now become our family tradition! Comfortable, clean, close to the resort! Close to grocery store and Walmart! We relax, play games, work on our Lego kits and puzzles and find time to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day! Lou, the property manager picks up the phone immediately if we need advice or just about anything! We arrive with a gift basket full of welcoming treats! Perfect place to go for a fabulous getaway! I’ll never stay anywhere else at Bryce Mountain! As I said- it has now become our family tradition! Five stars!

What a beautiful place!

We like to vacation during the fall to experience the color changing leaves and we were NOT disappointed, here in Basye, VA. It is so beautiful here! The cabin is wonderful and so homey! Our 3 adult sons like to stay in for the majority of our vacation so, the basement game room and hot tub are an answer to prayer for them. We will be adding this place to our "must visit again" list. We even used the resort passes and went golfing for the first time as a family, very first time ever for our sons...it was a very long 9 holes, but it was so much fun!

Clean, Convenient and Ample Room

Cool house in a cool location. Walkable to the resort and activity passes were a definite plus. House was clean and stocked with the basics, communication was clear. Hot tub, arcade game and pool table kept the (3) teens occupied at night.

Felt so welcomed in this beautiful place

We were there over the New Year weekend, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived! From the chalkboard welcoming us with all the names of those in our family, to the beautiful Christmas tree set up in the living room, to the amazing gift basket with yummy goodies waiting on the counter, we felt instantly warm and cozy. There were 14 people in our group (our 4 children, their spouses, and 4 grandchildren, 3 of which were under 2 years old.) The property was a perfect size for us all, and the rooms/beds were very comfortable. The master suite is HUGE, and became a third hang-out at times! The game room downstairs was so well-equipped with many fun things to do (pool table, arcade game, foosball, and darts). We also took full advantage of the hot tub in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There were even extras that we didn't expect, like some spices, etc. The proximity to the resort was also a plus. It was only a couple blocks from the skiing, snowtubing, and ice skating offered at Bryce. We appreciated the detailed descriptions that were posted at the house so that we knew exactly how to operate anything we needed. We also really loved the fun western decor. One thing that we brought with us because of the young children, was a gate that we attached at the top of the stairs. With young ones, that is a necessity! We had a really wonderful time in this beautiful place, and we would certainly love to return at some point!

Relaxing among the tree tops

Cedar Ridge provided a wonderful view of the forest. The lodge was so clean and welcoming. The youngins loved their room, Lake Laura and the hot tub. That was true for the adults as well. Morning coffee on the balcony in the rocking chair ,was marvelous for reflection and planning the day. Thank you all so much.

Wonderfully beautiful place

This is a very nice place, everything was provided for and explained well with in reason. Very easy to maintain and the kids and grandma loved it too. Recommend getting all your groceries prior to arriving because nearest Walmarts and Food Lion is 35 min away. If you're coming to visit the Bayse resort, it is literally 2 min away. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a few days at the resort and a few days lounging around at the house spending, much needed time with family. Definitely recommend.

Ski vacation

We stayed at the Lodge during Christmas break, and everything was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy, plenty of activities around. The kids loved the arcade and dart board. And we were only 2 min away from the ski area. Made it easy to come home for lunch and dinner in between the ski sessions. Would highly recommend this place for families.

The lodge was super clean, very spacious. Gift basket was very nice. We had a great time and definitely would recommend the lodge. We had nine people. However, large enough the accommodate the 10-12. The grill and spa were awesome.

Family getaway

The property is very well managed. The owners give attention to details to make guests feel at home. It is warm, inviting and exceptionally clean. You see their pride in sharing their home. A welcome basket is left for the guests which was fun to have upon our arrival. They immediately got back to us to help us with their tv technology that we are not good with. There’s lots to do at the home if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Pool table, hot tub, darts, board games ( would recommend adding the location of the board games in the owners house guide) and an electronic arcade (at least 1,000 games that four people can play together). Our adult children loved it. We will definitely recommend the property to our skier friends for a winter adventure.

A Place for the Whole Family

The adults loved the different areas for family and the porches. The children were safe with the good railings and gates. The new arcade game was a hit. Communication with managers and owner was top notch.
