This pet-friendly space features two quaint shipping container homes, and a spacious covered patio with private forest views. Forest Lane Acres presents an idyllic retreat for couples or small families looking for relaxation, social interaction and connecting with the outdoors. It boasts serene views of the pine forest from the covered patio deck, offering an exclusive oasis of privacy - you may detect the distant hum of neighbors, but they remain unseen. The outdoor area is equipped with WIFI, allowing you to work or play on your laptop amidst nature. Pet-lovers will appreciate the pet-friendly patio, fitted with retractable screens on all openings to ensure your furry companions remain safely within sight. Inside, the property is cleverly constructed from two shipping containers, providing a compact yet cozy living space of 540 square feet. Although the space is small, many amenities await, including a kitchenette, two full baths with showers, HD Smart TV in living and both bedrooms, and a full washer/dryer. This tiny house comfortably sleeps two on a queen bed and two on a full bed in the separate container. Additionally, we do have a “queen” sofa bed in the living room that’s great for one adult or a couple of kids. The 1200 square-foot outdoor covered patio is the highlight of the property. It is perfect for larger gatherings with friends and family and outdoor dining. There is a propane grill and wood smoker for cooking. There are several eating and food prep areas, as well as comfortable outdoor furniture. There are both propane and wood burning fire pits. The inclusion of ceiling and floor fans for the summer months, and fire pit tables to cozy up during the colder months, this outdoor haven is designed for year-round enjoyment - only extreme weather conditions could dampen the outdoor experience. After a day’s activities, there is an outdoor movie projector (Nebula Mars 3 Pro) and an inflatable 120-inch movie screen available. The projector is connected to the house WIFI to stream apps (Prime, Netflix) and Google TV. We provide USB connections for Apple and Android phones. (USB to lightening plug and USB to C plug) to allow for easy streaming from a phone, tablet or laptop. This location, just off State Highway 71 (SH 71), offers quick and easy access to all that wonderful Bastrop has to offer. So. Many. Unauthorized late check-outs may incur additional fees. 3\. Overnight occupancy is limited to 5 adults. Property can sleep up to 6 people only if there are children listed on the reservation. The maximum overnight occupancy is six guests. Visitors are allowed until 10:00 PM. Please inform us in advance if you plan to have additional guests or visitors who are not listed on the reservation. 4\. If a breakage should occur during your stay, don’t be shy! SECURITY CAMERAS: Security on our properties is provided via outdoor security cameras. There are security cameras on the building perimeter that are motion activated and do record. There are no inside cameras. 2\. LOCK AND KEY: Access to both containers is through patio doors. There is a lock-box located next to each patio door that contains a key to the unit. Lock box code will be provided to you the morning of your check-in date. You are required to lock property when you are not present. 3\. Storage Units at the rear of the property are off limits to guests. ✔️ You will be required to sign an off platform RENTAL AGREEMENT and required to upload your driver’s license to complete a reservation. Top of the line appliances with washer and dryer. The host is very friendly and treats her guest like royalty. Everything looks new and beautifully decorated.Great place if you are traveling with children over 13, two couple travelers or traveling with grandparents that would enjoy their own private cabin. Very private and secluded and a large fenced in area that you dogs can run around and play in.Only 11 miles from The Last Resort. We vacationed the area for Sherwood Forest Faire. It was easy to get Sherwood from this location. The property had a huge outdoor area for dining, cooking or socializing. There is not much space for luggage so utilize the storage they provide strategically. We left suitcases outside with no worries. Ellen communicated the entire time, from when we first booked to the day we arrived. if we needed anything she was a text away. Although we didn’t. We had everything we needed. Very quaint! Very Quiet! This home is tucked away in the beautiful pine trees, but still close to everything in Bastrop. It was clean, charmingly decorated, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and more. The large, covered outdoor area was our favorite place to relax and visit. The tabletop heaters were perfect for the cool evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we can stay again every time we visit Bastrop. ##### Karla G. They are so pet friendly and even installed retractable gates to help keep your fur babies contained. There are 2 shipping containers and each one is its own little piece of heaven with a bedroom and full bathroom. The shared outdoor space has everything you can think of for a family get together spacious seating bbq grill and not one but 2 table top heaters. I can’t say enough good things and I can’t wait to stay there again as it’s so close to the Rising Sun Vineyard where we were visiting ##### Kelly H. When you drive into the property, you feel like you’re in a dreamy movie with the gorgeous pine trees surrounding you! Then you walk up a beautiful rock set of steps onto a fabulous outdoor area! It’s so spacious and a great place to relax and take in the fresh air! There are more than enough amenities for cooking outdoors, and indoors, too! The two containers allow you to have separate “living quarters”, which was perfect for my husband and his work partner for their extended stay while doing a job in Bastrop! They loved it so much, they booked a second week after a 9 night stay the first time! I cannot wait to go back when it is just my husband and myself! It’s so peaceful and the owner has put more thought into every single detail than the law should allow! I would recommend this place to everyone! It’s beyond perfect! Simply a fantastic place to stay! The owners have thought of every little detail that would make you comfortable in your stay. From a dog bed, hiking sticks, laundry detergent, well placed charging stations, I could go on and on! Extremely well priced for all that you get with this amazing property. As a couple with 3 medium/large dogs we were curious to see if we could manage being in a 40’ unit. We loved all the space outside and the unit was cozy. Even though we didn’t stay in it, it was nice to have the washer and dryer in Little Blue. The pups loved all the sights, smells, and sounds while we enjoyed the views.
