Unique and very comfortable Ocean Song Villa with unobstructed spectacular ocean views. Unlike other Vacation Rental in St Kitts we designed and built 6 homes at Turtle Beach. This Villa is our favourite. We like to think of Ocean Song Villa and Charming Cottage along with our Turtle Beach Private Lounge as a "Boutique Hotel" and NOT just another Villa Rental. Designed with the natural elements in mind for very comfortable island living. 3 large bedrooms each with private en suite bathrooms, AC's and king size beds. Perfect for a family or 3 couples wanting privacy. Fully self-contained private guest cottage also available for rent as 4th bedroom if needed. See Charming Cottage VRBO 305566, Turtle Beach Cottage and Beach Lounge VRBO 437667 can also be rented if you have a group of 10 travellers who would like all 3 properties and enjoy the beach lounge all to yourselves! Book early! Ocean Song Villa and Cottage guests have the use of a beautiful spacious beach front lounge a few minutes walk away at the Turtle Beach Cottage. Our guests enjoy the exclusive use of the charming beach front lounge with honor bar, beach chairs, outdoor shower & washroom. The best accessible coral reef on island for snorkeling is steps away. This is also one of the best bays on island for Kite Surfing. Situated overlooking Turtle Beach Cove on the tip of the South East Peninsula is the very peaceful and private charming Villa called, Ocean Song. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the pelicans and frigate birds dive for their breakfast. Keep an eye out for sea turtles on the coral reef just below the villa. Enjoy Hummingbirds as they buzz around you in the mature gardens surrounding Ocean Song villa. Have a sunset drink while relaxing on the deck by the infinity edge pool and be amazed at the outstanding unobstructed views of Ocean and Nevis in the distance. Watch the colors fade as sailing boats glide by at day’s end. Ocean Song is a West Indian style designed villa, with clay tile floors, hard woods, natural stone, wallabal shingles, and antique bricks and tiles, and hand cut stone. The fully equipped chefs kitchen has stainless steel appliances, center island and pantry. The fully stocked kitchen has amazing Ocean views and large doors that open onto the pool deck. There is also a large window with serve through counter on one side that opens to the deck with covered outdoor dining and built in BBQ. You will not find a Villa on St Kitts quite like Ocean Song. Ocean Song villa has antique and custom designed furnishings, original local paintings and prints, three large comfortable bedrooms all with beautiful Ocean views, two on the upper level and one on the main level, all with king-size beds, en suite bathrooms, AC and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a large private deck, walk in closet and outdoor shower with natural stone. The main level has a large comfortable living room with built in bar and wine chiller, dining, library well stocked with a wide variety books. The living room has amazing views on three sides and large doors that open to the infinity edge pool and decks. An infinity edge pool with built in seating, large decks, guest bathroom, gazebo and built in seating and lounging area with private garden complete the outdoor space. There is also wireless internet and 60'' inch flat screen Smart TV with Cable TV and NETFLIX. The villa sits upon the hillside where the prevailing winds and ceiling fans will cool you as the waves lull you to sleep. Ocean Song villa is situated in lush mature tropical landscaping with breathtaking unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Nevis, Booby island and Turtle Beach. A few minutes’ walk from the villa is the beautiful Turtle Beach, which has one of the best coral reefs for snorkeling on the island. This is where our private beach front lounge is located for your use from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can snorkel, swim or relax under a shady coconut tree, and enjoy the inviting views of the reef, Booby Island and Nevis directly in front. Or beach comb the shallow pools and turtle grass beds along the shore. The spacious private beach lounge is JUST for our guests, has a fully stocked honour Bar, beach chairs and many comfortable shady seating areas. While some beaches in St Kitts get crowded on "Cruise Ship Days" you will be able to relax AWAY FROM THE CROWDS at our private lounge on the beach. Turtle Beach is a public beach which is not groomed by machines. Sargasso Seaweed comes and goes with the tides on Turtle Beach throughout the year. There are many more beautiful beaches within a 5 -10 minute drive from Turtle Beach to explore on your vacation. We will send more information on request. Cockleshell Beach is a few minutes’ drive or approx 15 minutes walk along the beach and across the dune. Reggae Beach Bar and Grill, Lion Rock and Spice Mill restaurants are all located there, where you will have your choice of beach casual or Gourmet. A wide variety of water sports are located at Cockleshell. Water Taxis to Nevis, private boat charters and deep sea fishing charters are also available from Reggae Beach bar and the Drive on car Ferry to Nevis is a 5 minute drive away at Majors Bay. The New Park Hyatt with 3 restaurants and amazing Spa are a 5 minutes drive. The beautiful Christophe Harbor Pavilion beach club/restaurant is a 5 minute drive away, open for lunch and dinner, but reservations are required. An eight minute drive will take you to the amazing Salt Plage waterfront bar with casual dining over the water. An amazing spot for sunset drinks and tapas in a casual but sophisticated style. Only open in the evenings. The Christophe Harbour Marina with Pepe's Cafe and great shopping is a fun stop 8 minutes drive away. The elegant Carambola beach restaurant is 15 minutes drive away and open for lunch and dinners. Frigate Bay, is an 18 minute drive away where you will find The St Kitts Marriott Resort and casino, as well as a variety of restaurants, shops, health spa, fitness center and 18 hole championship golf course. The views and the pool were amazing. Great location!!! We rented a jeep and explored the whole island. Did 2 hikes: bay cave hike and Shitten trail. Took a catamaran snorkeling trip with blue safari. The home is beautifully decorated with nautical artifacts. BRs have AC. Did a tour of Nevis, hiked the volcano, and ended with a sunset snorkeling tour. A great, relaxing family vacation. The three bedrooms with en-suite baths were perfect for three couples. We all had very good privacy there. The view from the house was incredible to say the least and the beach house on the water at turtle beach, a short walk away was amazing. Lots of shade and comfy chairs and chaises. The honor bar was extremely well equipped. If you needed food, the supermarket at frigate bay was 20 minutes away and the main supermarket in bassterre was 25 minutes. Ricky and his wife have done an amazing job with this villa, the artifacts and books are unreal. The view of Nevis unbeatable. The beach house is beyond expectations with the absolutely perfect combination of remote beach feel and quiet solitude. I was surprised by just how much this felt like home that my wife and I ventured out little as everything one might need for a perfect vacation located onsite. The villa has everything you need to prepare meals, drinks, bbq etc… and the various birds a joy to watch. The pool has the best views on the island. Loved this villa and would recommend this property to anyone that wants to be pampered. Great time and thanks to the owners for such a top notch location, villa and staff. P.S. The house it’s average good: but the problem it’s too many people doing nothing all the time that kills your relaxing time. Provided everything we needed, including a few grocery staples , which we very much appreciated We thoroughly enjoyed the open air concept in the main living space and vast outdoor entertainment area and pool. Spent a lot of enjoyable time at Reggae’s beach bar and enjoyed some great snorkeling there. The private beach was not as close as we originally thought, but that was our own misunderstanding. So it’s not a good beach for swimming, it was still fun to explore. The private lounge is very nice with a stocked bar for purchasing drinks if desired. It was a bit of a drive to and from town for several shopping trips, excursions, sightseeing, etc. but all in all, we loved the privacy and seclusion of the villa so it was well worth it. Fortunately, we rented a car which made traveling back-and-forth easy once we got used to driving on the “wrong side” of the road. : ) I would recommend a four-wheel-drive or jeep-type vehicle because some of the roads out in that area are quite rough. ##### Sally W. The home is very well decorated with lots of seating areas indoor and outdoor. Beautiful views looking across “”The Narrows at Nevis. We used the pool everyday! Cooked a lot of our meals using the well stocked kitchen that had all of the amenities we needed. Decent WiFi connection made it easy for our family to stay connected (or not). A day of sailing with Capt Coconut (Ben and Nicky) should be on your list. Plan on a great day of sailing, snorkeling, and lively conversation. Kenneth’s Dive Center: boat was well laid out and experienced dive masters made for a very enjoyable day under the sea. Lots of wildlife on every dive! Friday Reggae Beach Lobster Fest was great. (They accept reservations) Live non-stop music and plenty of good food. We did the hike to the top of Mount Liamuiga. Quite a challenge with a beautiful view at the top. It took our group 5hrs round trip. Vehicle with higher ground clearance recommended when staying at Ocean Song Thanks to Ricky and Penny for their recommendations and for sharing your piece of paradise! What attracted us to this property was the view !!!! We spent hours lounging in the pool and gazing out at Nevis. All items were as depicted in the listing. Everything worked well and the house was very well supplied with all the necessaries. There was tonnes of space and seating areas for the 6 of us if not more. The bedrooms were spacious though the beds were on the soft side for our liking. It is a 10 min trek down to the beach house and seems longer on the way back - but having the full kitchen and honour bar by the beach made logistics much simpler. The property is isolated from the main part of the island - there are only a couple of restaurants near by and only 1 that stays open late. Otherwise you do need a car to get around and to other eating options or supermarkets. The hosts and property manager (Franklyn) were great - very responsive and attentive. They provided so much information about the island - sites, eating, supermarkets, activities - all in a handy PDF and book in the house. We took advantage of many of their recommendations and werent disappointed. We would recommend staying here - you will be glad with your choice. Thank you to the Pereria Family ! ##### roochita p. All would could say pulling up to Rick and Penny’s property. Views are stunning! Looked exactly as pictured in the listing. What an amazing 8 nights at the Ocean Song Villa! My wife and I along with our three kids (ages 9-17) loved our week on the island. Rick and Penny provided a handbook of instructions from getting a rental car on the island to groceries, restaurants, excursions, beaches, etc. Franklyn, property manager, was there to greet us at the property upon arrival and stopped in a few times during the week to check in with us and provide recommendations. The property is absolutely stunning. Has so much character in terms of the architecture and decor. You could tell so much went into making this property a home. It’s definitely not your typical rental. There was plenty of space in this home. Kitchen was equiped w new high end appliances - range, oven, outdoor grill. We actually cooked dinners in most nights because the property was so relaxing and pleasant to hang out at. We did drive over to Spice Mill for a very nice and more formal dinner out but we found ourselves hanging at Shipwreck most days for lunches. Prices cannot be beat! Kids meals $4-$10, $3 local beer, $6 wines, staff is great! We ended up spending several hours a day snorkeling in front of the restaurant. Turtle Beach, 5min walk from house had amazing reefs to explore! Would go back in a heart beat!
