"The room was absolutely spotless and had a lot of places to store my overpacking. The bed and bath are indoors, and the kitchen/table are outdoors. I was able to walk around barefoot both indoors and out without encountering any grit, unbelievable for a beach vacation. The kitchen is equipped with every imaginable convenience, and the room was just really comfortable. It was clear that the lovely and helpful hosts, Anne-Sophie and Alain, had thought about and anticipated guests' needs, e.g. large drying rack for beach stuff, mosquito netting (not needed when we were there), good lighting, a safe, a well stocked kitchen, an outdoor shower by the common pool. We visited in January and thought we would need bug spray, but didn't despite wet weather. To get to restaurants, a car is best. Though the town is pretty close by, I would have felt uncomfortable walking the narrow and windy road, though we saw a few intrepid pedestrians. And yum, a boulangerie up the road. Yum. The area itself felt very safe, and there is a safe in the room for valuables, though it didn't feel necessary. Minor cons: There is enough parking, though the lot is narrow and may require some maneuvering to get into a spot if you are a bad driver like me :) The wifi could be stronger. I didn't have a consistent signal in bed on my phone, though my husband's did better. The signal was fine at the dining table. My husband said he heard some traffic in the mornings. Overall, spectacular stay!"

"We loved this rental! The surf was right outside the windows and patio. It was 5-6 minutes drive to Pearl Beach or Deshaies. 5 minute walk on pathway south to Gadet Beach, a calmer cove for swimming and much less visited than the big beaches. The house is spacious and well stocked in the kitchen. Great outdoor seating. Each bedroom with ensuite bath and AC, mosquito netting. We would love to go back. The end of our week had stronger surf and I found it too loud for sleeping but my husband was fine. I simply slept in the middle bedroom. Great property for enjoying nprthwest Basse- Terre."

"The stay was great and the majority of the staff were very welcoming however one member at reception refused to give us beach towels to use the facilities the day of checking out. Note: We were not notified that towels would not be replaced once you give them back to the reception otherwise we would have keep them until our last day to enjoy the pool and give them back upon leaving the hotel. it would have been fair to either notify us or give us towels given that we were not informed of this by anyone. Majority of hotels would have given a towel replacement to use the facilities and the 3 stars rating for staff and service is due to this specific incident other than that everyone have been nice and welcoming to us. On a positive note - the restaurant staff were amazing! "
