This made it impossible for one of guest to enter the property. In addition, the person who paid for the cabin had to be hospitalized one week before the trip and the owner refused to work with us to delay the trip or receive a partial (not asking for much money back) refund so the trip could be cancelled. Overall, the stay was good. House was clean, deck was nice. The living space and dining table were a great size. The biggest issue was the home was advertised to have 4.5 bathrooms, when in reality there were only 2.5 bathrooms. The 4.5 bathrooms was one of the primary reasons we booked this home, so it was disappointing to find out that the advertisement was false. House was definitely clean but garbage cans in the garage were pretty much already full when we arrived. Also note that the hang out area by the private dock is not along the water and thus not a practical space for kids to enjoy the lake. That said, you can make the 20min drive to Miller’s Landing where you can get rentals and find a spot at a sandy area. We had a great time at Rocky Point. ##### Betzabel S. It was updated and clean and comfortable. Finding a rental house that welcomes dogs is always a challenge but this house was great and had a wonderful area for them to go potty and could be locked up safely. The stairs leading up to the house and the walk to the dock posed a little challenge for Granada and her bum hip. We do wish the dock was closer, but we kept our toys down at the dock so it made the walk easier for The future walks down. Overall we were happy, but due to our elderly travelers we probably won’t rent this exact house again. Listing showed 4 baths. We counted 2.5\. 2.) Trash cans were all full upon our arrival. When trying to access garage the main garage door was disconnected from garage door opener. We had to open manually. 3.) The kitchen light fell down one morning and would have hit us while cooking if it wasn't for the safety chains! The teens were in heaven as they each had a room with their own TV screen. Coming together in the living area that boast a foosball table amongst other games was a hoot. This property has a dog pen that is totally enclosed - one less worry when we let the dogs out ! Fully equipped kitchen with basic spices and coffee maker, as well as pots and pans! There’s also a trail a few hundred yards up the road, as well as the lake the level of which was a bit low before the atmospheric river hit.
