Crafted with care and full of character, the cabin features some original retro 60’s furniture along with modern amenities —each detail adding to its mountain lodge charm. Beautiful Bass Lake is a wonderful spot for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. Just a short walk to the Pines Village, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina and boat launch with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is close by, offering grocery stores, shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is about a 30-mins drive and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 19 miles away. THINGS TO KNOW Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. It was exactly as described—family-friendly and perfectly located right on the lake. The fishing off the back was excellent, and we loved having access to the paddle boards and kayaks. The owner provided clear and concise check-in and checkout instructions and was very communicative throughout our stay, which made the entire experience seamless.
