We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Kastil in May so it was not busy as it was early in the season. We were very well looked after by the friendly staff. The view from the room, which had a balcony , was fantastic, overlooking the quays and the blue blue sea!it was centrally located so convenient for everything...beach, shops, other restaurants, walks, boat hire, boat trips, ferry and bus.
The hotel food was excellent; breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the sea, diner in the restaurant under the pines.
Only complaint was that it was a bit noisy in our room in the night either from the singer in the restaurant below and very early morning deliveries and cleaners on the terrace. We needed the window open as the centrally controlled air conditioning was not yet operating. I am sure we would not have been bothered by the noise had we had the been staying a bit later in the season when air con was working and we could have shut windows. Also, there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room.
We would return to this hotel when we next visit Bol.
