Wonderful friendly staff, comfortable room and well located a short walk from the Christmas markets. Good breakfast made all the better by the lovely staff.

Nice food bar, some rooms, gym, shower The item I used was broken and poured out water. The prices for items on the mini bar wre unreasonably high and made the Hotel look like it was trying to gouge customers, especially since there was not a visible price list for items on top of the mini bar (which are usually free-$7 for a 3 oz pack of gummie bears or crackers).

Nice large room in a quiet area within walking distance of old town and sights. Relatively close to railway station and easily walkable in 10 min. Only down side is breakfast very pricey!!

Very nice hotel, nice large room with space for a family of 4. Nice simple breakfast buffet. We only stayed for one night but everthing was as expected and the staff were friendly.

Great hotel
High quality hotel in perfect location for Basel. The room was fantastic and I was particularly impressed by the well equipped gym and nice breakfast. It’s a step up from most hotels I have stayed in.

Property is newly renovated but it was a bit far from the train station. Breakfast is pricy. There is not much around the facility.

The staff are so warm and welcoming and happy to help. The room was spotlessly clean and so quiet. The hotel has a small courtyard at the back which great to relax and have an evening drink in. It's close to the town - be prepared for steps into the old town though - and close to transport links which was so useful. There are restaurants and bars very close by, so the central location of the hotel makes a a great place to stay. I would happily stay there again.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming! They gave us free public transportation passes, museum discounts, and they had a gym. The room temperature in our room was also cool. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Hotel
Amazing hotel. Location within central but away from the noise which is perfect. Transport lines not too far away just as well as restaurants and shopping places. Hotel is very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast not too bad. Bed comfortable.

We stayed in a very spacious, ultra modern “loft” room containing lounge, kitchen, bed and bathroom areas. It looked very impressive and was comfortable but there were various examples of the visually impressive design not being very functional. For example, the plugs in the wash basins didn’t keep the water in the basin, the air conditioning was very slow to be effective and the controls were very difficult to understand. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful with booking taxi for us.

Very nice hotel , close to the old town . Lovely staff . Be aware that rooms have European multi plug sockets and only 1 socket was useable with our adapter. The bathroom is fantastic but be aware that there isn’t a wall only a curtained glass panel so you can see into the bathroom depending on the light situation

Stylish hotel and very comfortable.
Beautiful and comfortable property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were only there for a night, but it definitely left an impression as an excellent well run hotel with all the comforts that you needed.

Good sized room, breakfast was good, except the bacon and saudages which as with most hotels were bordering on being raw. Shower was huge. Receptoon staff great and very helpful

Lovely welcome from staff. We were given a discount card for museums and galleries and free public transport. We had a room upgrade to a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. Great bathroom with bath and shower. Buses and trams were close by, as was the old town and the river. We had a delicious meal with traditional ‘rosti’ on first day, and explored the area around Spalentor for dining opportunities on Saturday.
