« We had an amazing stay in York! The house was comfortable for our family of 5. We walked to the beach and downtown easily with our beach gear, sometimes a couple times a day. My daughters and I left from the house and ran a 3.4 mile loop to the Nubble Lighthouse and back, so many beautiful views! We also rode our bikes the same loop to see the area at sunset and had ice cream at Dunne’s before heading back. We found a great coffee place to walk to, and an ice cream place (in Wells) that...

« We had a great stay overall! The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the property itself was amazing – clean, comfortable, spacious, and very quiet. We had read some comments about bugs and cleanliness issues, but in our experience (mid-August) the house was literally spotless, and we didn’t see a single bug. That said, we were a bit disappointed to find that some of the main amenities advertised were not available. The swimming pool and spa were both empty, and the fire pit was blocked off....

« These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again. »
