A quick stay
Booking, check-in and checkout was great. Super easy. Affordable stay really easy to find from highway. Not the most clean accommodations but I also wasn't expecting a palace at this price point!

Good, cheap option for one night
It's a basic motel, but I was happy with the hot water in the shower and decent wall-mounted AC. The room doesn't have an overhead light, so it's a bit dim, but with the lamps on, it's ok. Overall, it was pretty clean though the bathroom looked like the floor wasn't swept thoroughly. The wifi worked with no issues and the TV, microwave, and fridge also were fine. It's about a 20 minute walk downtown, which is nice in the summer. Overall, a good, cheap option for a one-night stay in Orillia.

We got in there at 7:30 p.m. the room was quite comfortable. TV was working so when we talk to management, they came to the room immediately. They worked on the TV for a few minutes, then gave us another room without hesitation. They were very kind in the way they spoke and acted. The room was clean, the bed was relatively comfortable and we were in the back end of the building where was quite quiet.

The smell
Room door opens to a blast if perfume. Within seconds the odour under the perfume reveals itself. It was mildew from the carpet mixed with a very pungent smell like cat piss. The room is cheap so I didn't stay night #2. Night #1 was just a 5:00am crash site so I couldn't be bothered to move.

Restful stay with no surprises.
Nothing fancy. All I wanted was a clean, quiet room for a restful night and that's exactly what I got. I would stay there again.

Property decor was very dated, clean but nothing more. Checked in, given key and told to put in mailbox when leaving. Tv, microwave & fridge in room with notice to turn everything off if using microwave. Power bar (Full) behind TV for appliances and plug behind bed for lamp, no place to plug mobile phone in.

Our toilet was clogged upon arrival. We went to the front desk to ask them to fix it or change rooms. They handed us a plunger and said to do it ourselves. Not the kind of service I expect, even in an inexpensive motel

Overall yes older place can tell by outside but owner was beyond pleasant helpful had 1 minor issue with comforter and he brought a new one within 5 mins inside was pretty clean and intact cant complain at all. Would fully go there again and recommend 100% only downfall was the amount for down deposit as he goes per day not per visit

Stayed a weekend for a great price hotel is old hot water takes time to kick in. Tv cant be used with microwave at the same time. Bed was comfortable with no bugs. Smoking rooms are available but no Cannabis smoking is allowed on property so you will need to leave the property to medicate.
