Thank you so much for making my stay at the Fairfield Barrie so enjoyable. I am an automotive tech and was in town for the week for lab scope and advanced diagnostic training. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and did an amazing job. It was so nice to come back to a clean and refreshed hotel room each evening. The continental breakfast was delicious and had just enough items to choose from to cater to a variety of breakfast tastes, but not so much that it seemed wasteful. I'm a scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bagel, fruit and juice kind of breakfast guy with the occasional waffle or oatmeal day thrown in to mix it up, so your continental breakfast hits the spot every morning before leaving for training. I will be back in the area again for more training in the future and plan to book my hotel here again. Thank you!!!

The pool water did not look safe for swimming. The pool deck and surrounding area very dirty. Room was dirty, hairs all over, food left in the mini fridge, random food bits around the beds. The faucet in the tub was completely broken.

Our room was clean and the bed comfortable Good breakfast and pleasant and efficient lady who set up and cared for the food and the cleanliness of the area. Friendly Staff. Minimum of noise. Clean and plenty of linens. We didn't need elevator but wasn't working until 3rd day there. Back sidewalk only partially cleaned.

Hotel was nice and clean. Unfortunately my husband and I checked in on a Saturday during the wonter which means that there was a hockey tournament taking place that weekend. The parking lot was completely full amd we couldnt find a parning spot. When we spoke to the front desk, they told us to park wherever we could find something (which is what we saw someone else do by parking on the grass near the entrance). We did manage to find a spot somewhere. Check in was easy and we actually got our room upgraded! In the morning we could hear the kids running up and down the hallways which was a bit annoyong when you're trying to sleep at 7am. But overall not a bad hotel

The elevator broke down 4 times while we were there and I got stuck in it. My husband had to go down to get someone as no one answered the panic button.. there was never towels when swimming, the hot tub was broken and breakfast was cold and had to wait for most items. No juice both days. They wanted a 400 deposit on top of the 540 dollars for 2 nights. Would not stay there again.

This is a very good comfortable basic hotel. The breakfast bar was well stocked and the staff was very helpful. My only issue was there was a non-electrical fixture in the bathroom that was hanging loose from the wall. It was quiet in the evening and easy access from the main highway.

Property looks like it used to be bice, but now its run down. The walpaper was peeling off the walls. There was tape on the door covering what look like a hole! Hot tub doesnt work! Others who were staying there came down to complain about the room cleaning service. There were stains on the wall. I checkednin and checked right out! Expedia said it would coat me $75 to cancel! To walk in a room and then walk out. I will definitely be disputing this on my credit card. Came from a 4 hour drive and left disappointed.
