Excellent Hotel!

This is by far the best hotel in all of Barranquilla! I have stayed here multiple times since they opened and the service, amenities, staff, etc is all top shelf. Yes, rates are a little higher than other hotels in Barranquilla but as we say in the USA, you get what you pay for.

Sad to see a good hotel with a very miss informed staff in the front. We were giving a bit of trouble at check in due to disinformation in documentation. Three different info per three different employees at the front desk when finally after two times we thought we got it right, my sister in law got charged taxes when we presented the documents correctly and if I wouldn’t have checked or if she would’ve traveled alone. She would’ve left with a 90 cad dollars charge. I had to call in Spanish and ask why the high charge when our bill was only 26cad. Front desk and auditor didnt do their job an updated our room charges. Feel the front staff is not well informed or prepared.also pool is closed until 9am! We stayed in the club room. My sister in law wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee outside in the pool to enjoy the warmth and was denied access. Also nobody checked in the pool area. We were locked out outside the pool for dinner time. We had to yell for help. She was locked out in the morning as well. Was trapped in between two gates. Nobody around to check in the pool area. A bit disappointed considering the price of rooms. Hotel is beautiful sad service.

The hotel is gorgeous and staff is very kind and helpful. I always use it when I go to Barranquilla. The only thing I would suggest to hotel manager is not to use the dinning room for private parties. Private parties should be held at the private ballroom or especial function rooms or private spaces. Otherwise the whole hotel guests have no confortable place in the hotel for breakfast or any other meal when the breakfast restaurant is being used to host private parties.
