« The Chestnut Cove Cottage is in a fabulous location with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cove is beautiful and peaceful. The dock allows for jumping into swimmable water. There is a small sandy spit to walk into the water, very suitable for the young and fit middle aged.The house is spacious with a large sitting room with a wide screen TV. « We had a good time in NH! The cottage was very clean, the living area is very spacious, and everything close to a nice lake! Here are few things that we liked a bit less : - The back of the couch was broken - Many dishes were dirty, and the kitchen lacked of few basic things (cutting board, water kettle, non stick pan for eggs, etc.) - Sleeps 5 but w chairs on the table inside »

« The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away. »

« Overall, we enjoyed our time. A few things that need to be addressed, like the distance between the parking and house. You'll need a wagon, something on wheels, especially if you are older. Checking in process is a bit confusing, we had to call the 800 #. However, it's a beautiful spot, very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend. »

« This was a very nice cabin. Great location on the lake with a nice dock for the boat. It was definitely a camp feel but had everything we needed and great for our dog too. It you are looking for a peaceful get away I would highly recommend »

« Great spot, great doc, great everything. It was a little small. but still nice. The only thing that it lacked was a couple of AC units because it gets very hot if it is a hot humid day especially upstairs in the loft. »

« Everything was perfect with our stay, property was very clean and organized. We have stayed in the past and will plan again in the future! Host was very responsive and available when needed. »

« 2023 last week of July…. Beautiful weather, check in easy, all beds made and plenty of towels provided. 4 bedrooms up, one in middle, two downstairs. Outside dock and sitting deck and lower deck where family swam and floated almost everyday. Nice to have ladders you can walk to on both swim deck and dock. No sandy beach which I knew but my group all over 21 years so not needed. We preferred floating, swimming and using the provided canoe for fishing. House was clean, rustic, comfy furniture in...

« Like a Cabin Masters redo! Great little cabin, nice waterfront. Grateful for the air conditioning on two really hot days (100), great furnishings and appliances. We had a great time. »
