"Steve the owner came out and had a short visit, adding a personal touch. We've never stayed in a nicer house. Everything we needed was there. I would recommend staying here. The peace and quiet, fireflies, chipmunks, stars at night, time to read and write, were priceless. Did I mention the incredible shower? The soaking tub? And Publix and Aldi close enough!? Thank you Steve and Venna and Lucy!"

"We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. The pictures don’t do anything justice. Every part of this home is amazing and beautiful. Every small detail is designed with intention. They really thought of everything. We chose to have our wedding here after seeing the pictures and the accommodations were exactly what we had been looking for. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, amazing, and extremely helpful through the entire experience. We were even able to fit it in the schedule to...

New! Charming Oasis on a Trout Stream.

"We stayed here in June and it was pure bliss. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful mountain getaway, this is the place for you. We loved the space to run, the creek to play and fish, the sauna, and the overall cabin experience. You get the feel of the country with modern conveniences, and it's close enough to groceries and Asheville that you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The owners were very friendly and helpful and have done a great job keeping up with this place. I can't recommend...

Bears Den: Private, Comfortable, Well Kept Cottage w Hot Tub overlooking River.
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (192)
"Great little place to stay, clean, well equipped and quiet location. It’s far enough out but close enough to things as the same time. Hot tub was great. One thing to know, the driveway is mildly steep. No problem for a modern vehicle, but we drove a classic car and it was a little dicey getting up the drive. I don’t remember if this was mentioned in the listing or not, but I’m just sharing in case it helps someone else decide what to drive LOL. We’d definitely come back!"
