"For a 16th (?) century village, this is an outstanding accommodation. The room was nice and very clean. I liked the location and the walk from the parking area was not too bad. The breakfast was excellent (see if you can get them to make you two croissants!). The area is EXCELLENT for exploring the Italian and French Alps. I had some of the prettiest hikes (and I'm from Colorado)!"

"The room was quite small for 2 adults and 2 children and there was a lot of noise from the interconnecting family room next door. The main problem was that the floors were filthy. The facilities in the room were OK. It was quite a long hike to get to the slopes and to restaurants. Overall OK but if we went back to Pra-loup we'd aim to stay further up the hill"

The location was very convenient for excursions into the mountains (GREAT hiking a short drive away!!). We made our own meals, but the for-fee breakfast seemed pretty good (from what we saw). There isn't much to do around in the evening. It's about 10 minutes walk to the village, but there isn't mich there either. One thing I don't understand is why people put a (transparent) window in the bathroom, without any blinds, facing the backyard. "

"This hotel was amazing!! Very high end for the price! Vanessa was so helpful and friendly! Such a wonderful experience for 2 Americans visiting a foreign country. We were concerned about getting around and the language barrier but no issues at all. Surprisingly our reservation came with an hour in the spa and we used it soaking in the hot bath (jacuzzi without jets). The views were spectacular as well as breakfast. We didn’t want to leave!! This hotel is on our list to come back to if/when we return to France. Heartfelt thanks to Vanessa!!"
